Pangea Beach Resort

We were initially attracted to Pangea by its social media photos, which depicted inviting pools and beautifully maintained rooms. Unfortunately, the reality was a total contrast.The pools, which appeared so inviting in the photos, were poorly maintained. The walls and floors of the pools were dirty and even broken in most of the places, making them both unsightly and unsafe. The furniture around the pool was either broken or extremely dirty, further diminishing the experience. The state of the rooms was equally disappointing, with furniture that had clearly been neglected for a long time. The overall cleanliness was below average, leaving much to be desired in terms of comfort and hygiene. To make matters worse, both the room rates and food prices were very expensive, completely unjustified by the poor quality of the experience.

Disastrous day at Pangea Beach Resort! My wife was shamefully approached by security at the pool and ordered to get out of the pool just because she wore a mini swimming short and not a bikini! They threatened to kick us out of the resort if she didn't comply with their discriminatory dress code which wasn't communicated to us prior to us entering the resort. The way they handled it was beyond rude and totally unprofessional. This dress code nonsense is outright discriminatory and unacceptable in this day and age. We expected a relaxing day, not this kind of disrespect. Unbelievable and completely unacceptable. This kind of treatment needs to stop!

Beautiful location, Pangea Beach was a surprise. The staff was friendly & cooperative especially as upon arrival my room smelled of smoke & no WiFi at all. Changing to a smoke free room with some WIFI ( Internet in Lebanon at the time of my visit was a disaster and weak) was super quick. Rooms where super clean & even the side view rooms had some sea view. The premises was supernice with a combination of pools & beach and clean, bathrooms on premise always clean Breakfast was a good quantity served from 830 to 11, with friendly staff. The VIP pool beds were free of charge for occupants, while the lower pool & beach were for an extra charge of usd 5 or USD 10 depending on size. The staff around the pool & pool bar where friendly & supportive. Happy to have spent time here ..
