Jinghe East Court Inn is a century-old quadrangle courtyard dating back to around 1885 during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty. Built over approximately 15 years, it was once the ancestral residence of the renowned Yang family in Lincang Prefecture (present-day Jianshui). The architectural structure features exquisite carved beams and painted rafters, showcasing its historical grandeur. The current space, originally the family’s flower hall (i.e., living room), has been meticulously restored and renovated by the current owner over two years, finally debuting in 2021 as a charming heritage stay. Situated at the heart of Jianshui Ancient City, the inn faces a parking lot directly opposite and is adjacent to famous local eateries like Shao Fen Old Shop, Papaya Old Shop, and Lincang Restaurant. It is just a 1-minute walk from Chaoyang Tower (East Gate) and a short stroll from landmarks such as the Zhu Family Garden and Confucius Temple.
