Hotel d'Annunzio

What a great find this place was. This family owned and run hotel is fabulous. Brenda, Maurice and Monika cannot do enough for you but without being over the top. We booked half board over 7 days and enjoyed every meal, we especially enjoyed the lovely waiting staff Christina and Raluka who were great personalities with a good sense of humour. We don’t usually think about going back to the same places (and believe me, we travel a lot) but with this place we will make an exception and I will eagerly look forward to returning. The rooms were quite basic but immaculately clean, comfy bed & pillows and the shower was great. My only criticism is the room has no kettle, but I’ll take my own next time as I like a cup of tea before retiring and first thing in the morning. A great find in a beautiful part of Italy with easy transport to Venice, the 3 islands Murano, Burano and Torcello, and many trips to other accessible places of interest.

I have just come back from a 5 nights stay at the Hotel D'Annunzio. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the charming hotel owner, Maurizio, and his lovely wife Monica. Their friendly and genuine hospitality set the tone for what turned out to be an absolutely delightful stay. Throughout my visit, every member of the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating - nothing was ever too much trouble. A special mention must go to the girls in the dining room who truly went above and beyond to make every meal a pleasant experience. The hotel is ideally located - just a short stroll from the beach and surrounded by a great selection of bars, restaurants and convenient access to public transport. It's the perfect base for exploring Lido di Jesolo, Venice, the Dolomites, Verona, Lake Garda and beyond. The food at the hotel was nice, with generously sized portions that left no one hungry. Well what can I say just back from here ,I read reviews but ignore them they from hrs ago here is my true word on it,well staff amazing all it's family run hotel and some very funny to made you feel welcome ,I was full board and omg breakfast amazing from cereal to fried breakfast every thing you need , lunch you pic from a menu I tried most but didn't get to try pizza,evening meal your given a choice to choose from, maybe should alter starters. But had soup mostly I find pasta for starter too filling , but you never go hungry they give you loads bit too much for me though,even though I was full board only drink that was free is in a morning's you have to pay for the rest I paid up every 2 days so no big bill at the end, I was there 9 nights N yes you do have to pay a tax mine was £11.70 think works out 1.30 euros a day, weather was hot rained only little bit 2 times my whole holiday so yes I got good tan. Plenty sun beds not have to fight for them, my room was slightly small it had everything you needed more than enough for me.but some very I had 5 sockets in mine some only have 1 but sure they give you an extension lead pool was very cold few got it it.beach is minute walk it's nice but it's spoilt with all sun loungers packed in like sardines, went with jet 2 to lake garda was beautiful long day but worth the trip and hotel will do u a pack lunch if you ask them, Met some lovely people esp Sonia she was there for 4 days wished we had longer holiday was over too quick, there's a couple comments I need to say so maybe they might change it, check out time is earliest I've ever known 9 am this needs changing well too early,it could do with just couple tables and chairs around the pool u can only eat at tables under the canopy where it's in shade and can be bit cold,Umberto our rep he visits hotel often he's lovely guy and do his best to help you , Had a lovely time hotel is right in the heart of it all,I can't wait to go back tyvm for looking after me you even worried when I not show for evening meal N breakfast so they came N checked I was ok so thoughtful, can't wait to go back, I forgot you given a table N that's your all the time while your there , I hope this review helps you lovely hotel and lovely family that run it xxx

My first time abroad on my own and looking at the reviews the hotel seemed a good place to stay. I could not believe how safe and welcoming my stay was and how many other ladies booked to stay there same time as I did. The place is spotless the cleaning ladies were unbelievable as was the rest of the staff. The three course meals in the evening had plenty of choices and lots to eat as well as breakfast. I chose mostly to go to the beach and bought a ticket for 10 euros there are guys coming round trying to sell stuff and Asian women offering massages but ignore them. I travelled to Venice twice via bus and boat and hired bikes from the hotel. Nothing was too much for the staff they worked so hard. Myself and another lady have booked for next September because we enjoyed our time so much at the hotel.

We visited this hotel for the second time. It is a family run hotel and as usual we received a warm welcome from Maurizio, Monica and Brenda. The hotel is ideally situated in the center of Lido de Jesolo a short walk from the sandy beach. We were staying on a half board basis and the food and drink supplied was of excellent quality and plentiful. All the staff were friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for you. If you want to visit Venice the bus stop is a few hundred metres from the hotel and easy to access. As I said, there is a very friendly vibe to the hotel and this being our second visit we will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It’s close to the beach, right in the centre of the town and easy reach of Venice and the islands. The rooms are very small and basic! Food was adequate but large portions. Breakfast is only served till 9:15. The view from our room was the car park. Aircon is €12 a day. We had to ask for more pillows, only one supplied for each bed. Pool area nice but several of the beds are cracked and need to be moved. Staff very friendly. We had a lovely week but wouldn’t recommend or go back to this hotel mainly because there are better hotels in this resort.
