Hotel Ambasciatori Palace

I'd been here before so knew what to expect. Some new bicycles since last year, otherwise pretty much the same. Excellent location and a good sized swimming pool: weather was 32-36C every day and clear skies so no chill factor. Staff are very helpful, I had one very minor issue (no sink plug when I arrived) which was rectfied quickly. Food as I expected: I'd describe it as good with exceptional when it comes to breakfast. The guy cooks your eggs, bacon etc. in front of you on a hotplate; you cannot get any better than that. The coffee from a machine is more than acceptable (this is Italy after all) and then there's croissants, a charcuterie section, fruit... This might sound bizarre, but if possible I would choose bed and breakfast. It's not that the food isn't good (it is) but 7-30pm is a little early and there are so many restaurants close by that would be nice to try.

Stayed at this hotel 5 times over the years and always enjoyed every bit of it but this time we were disappointed. The hotel is a bit tired but that has never put us off. The breakfast was plentiful and good and cooked to perfection, the evening meals were not! Obviously over the years they have changed the chefs ect but the food on offer this time was not up to scratch. We will go to Jesolo again but will choose another hotel unfortunately.

Don't pay attention to all the bad reviews we have just returned after 9 nights and we would recommend the Ambasciatori. The rooms were basic but that's all you need. The staff were all lovely and the food was plentiful. It's an old hotel so we didn't expect luxury but it exceeded our expectations after reading the bad reviews. Great location.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday and had a lovely time. We had two rooms and both were clean, had comfortable beds, air conditioning and a small fridge that we kept bottles of water in. The staff were all very friendly and the food was lovely with plenty to choose from. For breakfast there is cereal, fruit, yogurts, pastries, or you can get a freshly cooked breakfast. For dinner there were plenty of options to choose from along with lots of fresh vegetables and a dessert bar. The pool was one of the nicest that we have been to - it was kept clean and it was large and deep enough to swim properly. There was also a toddler pool. We also spent some time on the beach that was directly in front of the hotel and we were able to use the hotel's sun loungers and parasols free of charge. I would happily stay in this hotel again.

Haven’t got the patience to write a comprehensive review . However I would echo all the comments and observations from the post prior to mine . May be a a coincidence but myself and my wife have been unwell during the stay and since returning home . General poor hygiene and neglect is our abiding experience. Drab , depressing and run down .. You never see a cleaner .. Food rationed out , which is ridiculous Even the bacon at breakfast Dangerous broken tiles surround the pool Only positive is the location . A stunning beach on your doorstep and the main square yards away …

We booked this holiday through TUI for a nice hot summer break. Everything was going well until we arrived at the hotel. It says on the door that is a Forster. It wouldn’t scrape a two star on a good day. The place is filthy. The carpets are worn. The windows are smeared and hasn’t been cleaned in several years. We got checked in and given the key to our room we entered it was blistering hot air conditioning was broken and didn’t work. We stayed in this room for one night continuously through the night because it overlook the street or we could hear cars revving taxes and the bins being emptied from 1 am. It was like your living nightmare and we are quite easily please The following morning we manage to change rooms at the cost of €60 unexpected but we were happy to pay it to get a good nights sleep throughout the week. The breakfast buffet was borderline acceptable very minimal selection and a very disorganised queueing system come teatime dinnertime we saw the menu, not the best menu in the world reminded me of going back to school when I was young. We arrived at the restaurant for our dinner drinks and the food look like it had been sweating in the serving trays for many hours. We tried it for one night choosing just the potatoes or vegetables the puddings were far from standard. They were sloppy not set and borderline not edible The meat look like a roast flip-flop. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. The lady in reception was lovely and older lady in our 50s she was the only pleasant member of staff. The nets in reception are full of grease and dirt hasn’t been cleaned in many years the communal areas and the hallways always having leaves and dirt on them not being cleaned, the pool area was very rarely tidied up and grease around the edge of the water level in the swimming pool was thick. Many people were complaining of an upset stomach after swimming in the pool. Overall the resort is a lovely area. Jess in Italy we looked around several other hotels in the area just to see if we were being Fussy this hotel is like a Salvation Army house as every other one we looked in was very clean and modern. The communal areas in the hotel. Do not have Aircon worn out. Sofas in the hallways are disgusting if you’d like to take any good advice do not waste your money on this hotel. It won’t be long before I think it will be demolished as you can see all the concrete blowing. It can’t be any pain on the building and the blinds are so faded. You think they were made in the seventh is pastel colours, apart from that the pillow was so hard and lumpy I thought I’d stored that tennis balls in it. The mattresses were comfortable. Bedding is very worn with holes electric safe work in the room with no drama and the balcony has some furniture on it that looks like it was pulled from the rubbish tip, if you do decide to stay after this good luck and afterwards you would appreciate the review that I have written many thanks And on the day of checkout
