Holiday Inn & Suites Jefferson City

Hotel shares space with a former hotel that closed several years ago and is dilapidate. It is an eyesore. Staff to include the folks at the desk, security guard, and house keeping were very inhospitable. Seemed like it was a bother to offer a friendly greeting. Major issue was that the clerk at the desk assured my wife and I that we would have a late checkout when we checked in on the night of September 6, 2024. I had to go to work on Sunday, the day of our departure and left my wife alone to check out later that morning on her own. We did not get a late check as arranged. In fact, house keeping entered the room with my wife in it unexpectedly and unannounced. My wife informed the staff member that we had a late check out. Rather than addressing the matter and insuring that we received the late check out as arranged the staff continued enter the room repeatedly on 3 different occasions in an attempt to clean the room. Once my wife told the staff member we had arranged a late check out they should never have attempted to re-enter the room with my wife in it. Clearly communication is an issue with the staff at this location. Luckily my wife had the door latch after the first time the staff member entered the room unannounced. My wife had enough and decided it was time to leave as she felt uncomfortable and pressured to leave the room. She addressed the matter with the desk clerk as she was leaving the hotel on Sunday, September 8 to no avail. The clerk denied seeing anything on the“system” in regard to a late departure and offered no explanation as to why the late check out was not honored as previously arranged. After staying at this location on several occasions in the past, this will be our last stay. This experience was very disturbing and disappointing. I expected more from Holiday Inn and an IHG property.

A clean, attractive, well-run hotel. Beds comfortable, appointments all nice & in working order. Super-helpful Patricia helped me straighten out an IHG membership issue in short order. What was supposed to be a mere stopover turned into a memorable stay thanks to this Holiday Inn. P.S. Nice refreshing drink at in-house bar also a plus.

Rating this place a one. The facilities are nice however the Hot Tub has not worked for the past 2 years. No effort to fix it, which is a real shame as it is a great place to go and meet other people, however the lack of a hot tub often influences our parties decisions and we usually opt to meet up at the lake.

I stayed here for business for 4 nights. The last morning I woke up with what I thought were mosquito bites. A few days later I realized they were bed bugs. There is no other place I got them from. I didn’t even know bed bugs were still a thing and wished someone had warned me, so I’m warning you. Best to find another hotel.

We had a king suite. This was the nicest room I have ever stayed in. The hotel was very clean. The atmosphere was friendly and had the best selection of snacks. My only complaints are 1. The curtains did not close so the lights from the parking lot kept the room to bright at night. And 2. There are no towels in the pool area. I would return to this hotel. I greatly enjoyed my stay.

Stayed at this hotel February 26-27. Unfortunately my child along with several others became Ill the next day after swimming in their pool. Clearly they do not keep that area as clean as they should and we paid the price. We will not stay here again and based on their handling of the situation, we will avoid IHG hotels in the future.

Empfang durch Frau Kathaleen sehr freundlich und kompetent. Ein Genuss. Zimmer sehr groß. Betten bequem. Frisch duftende Bettwäsche. Großes Fenster. AC arbeitet gut. Frühstück a la card. Tische und Boden sind klebrig, obwohl nur 3 Gäste anwesend sind. Es dauert sehr lange bis das Essen gebracht wird. Es ist zudem nur lauwarm, vollgezogen mit Fett - nicht bekömmlich.

Gutes, neues Hotel mit großen, modernen Zimmern, bequemen Betten, kostenfreien Parkplätzen, unkompliziertem Check-In und fairen Preisen. Die Lobby ist sehr großzügig und bietet zahlreiche Sitzplätze. Ein sehr guter Aufenthalt - kann man nur empfehlen.
