HOTEL TUTTO

We arrived late in the evening, when it was dark and rainy, so it wasn't until the morning after we were able to fully enjoy the quaint village and the beautiful views from the hotel room. We stayed in two separate rooms with our two kids and were happy to find that the hotel had put us in rooms next to each other, as we hade wished when we made the booking. We discovered quite quickly that the WiFi signal was not very strong (non-existent) in our rooms but after I asked the receptionist/waiter in the hotel restaurant he immediately got on it and within thirty minutes they had hooked up an additional router and signal was excellent. Happy faces all over... The village is very small and quiet so naturally we had dinner at the hotel which was just lovely. A good mix of basic Macedonian food that everyone was very happy with. We were visiting during off-season so not a lot of guests but it seemed to be the place for locals to come and hang out - and smoke unfortunately. Amazing how distant indoor smoking seems now. Breakfast was included in the price and it was just perfect. Great coffee and a varied mix of bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and of course "aivar" which was home made and delicious. We just stayed one night but we were sad to leave.

Mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht. Wel wat ver van alles af. Wandeling naar Galicnik is een goede optie en duurt ongeveer 4u totaal ( heen en terug) . Bezoek aan Duf Waterval is ook leuk. Als hotelgast niet het idee dat je er toe doet. Vaak niemand aanwezig bij receptie. Tijdens ons bezoek was er een bruiloftsfeest. Enorm harde muziek. We hadden op zijn minst even geïnformeerd kunnen worden. Alle aandacht van personeel ging uit naar de bruiloft. Toen ik wat wilde vragen, kwam niemand mij helpen. Eten in restaurant is prima. Duurde echter een uur voordat we waren geholpen, terwijl er slechts 2 tafels bezet waren. In tegenstelling tot de rest van Macedonië kregen we hier geen tips wat we konden doen in de omgeving. De zo kenmerkende gastvrijheid zagen we hier niet terug.

Ökologisch angelegtes Investment von Besitzer/Gastronom Tutto: Kein übertriebener Komfort, aber die Ausblicke etwas oberhalb des Dorfes Janche sind schon toll. Man sollte keine grossen Ansprüche stellen. Dennoch: Zimmer/Betten für ein paar Nächte ok, Küche ebenso (vor allem ein richtig guter Schafskäse!).
