Casa Beach Hotel "Casa Del Mar"

We did the wild parcs in Tanzania for a week and then came here. It was everything we hoped for. A nice room, beautiful pool and direct look at the beach and amazing sea. The bar, food and drinks were very good. And a special applause for the staff, always kind and willing to help.

Our stay was arranged by Safari post tour on mainland. Of all the 7 hotels this was the worst welcome over a payment for local tax. This should have been incl and dealt directly with by our safari it wasn’t. The reception staff was rude and would not release the room key until I paid the tax. Ensure this is included. This ruined our stay !! . It wasn’t the $$ amount it was how poorly it was handled. Despite that the rest of the staff are wonderful, food and happy hour cocktails excellent. It’s a relaxed beach holiday if you want to sit around the pool or swim, very tidal so you may have to time your swim. This side of island understand everything is an hour plus drive over pot holed roads. You basically are in a compound. Could improve by offering tours or trip desk. Like all of Tanzania hot showers are hit and miss with solar only. If I went again I’d do a mix of a beach stay and some days in Stonetown.

Just perfect. The whole stay was wonderful. This is a true taste of paradise. The place was clean, beautiful and the service was exceptional. Great food. This is a smallish boutique hotel. Not too overwhelming with loads of tourists. Lovely pool.

We stayed at Casa Beach Hotel after our great safari in Tanzania. The hotel is very good! The view is amazing, the pool is very nice and the private beach at the seaside is excellent. The personnel is the most lovely and caring we have ever experienced. Also the food is good quality and best value for money. We stayed here for approximately 6 nights and left with are warm goodbye.

I stayed here for 5 nights and was sorry to have to leave. The setting where the bar restaurant space extends into the pool, and then into a lovely sandy patch and finally into the spectacularly turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean is simply out of this world. But what really makes this such a great experience is the staff. From the managers and the chef to the waiters and waitresses and housekeeping staff, everyone is attentive, friendly and always happy to help. The food was delicious, striking a perfect balance between comfort food and innovative dishes. Highly recommended, also for families.

We stayed at Casa del Mar for three nights at the end of our visit to Tanzania. Loved it so much, we didn't want to leave! Clean, comfortable rooms with AC, and beautiful views of the Indian Ocean, just steps away from Jambiani Beach. The dining room is next to the pool, and the food/drink selection was excellent. But best of all are the many fine people who work there. The waitresses, housekeepers, porters and reception staff were always pleasant and thoughtful. I want to say 'asante' to all of them, I just wish I could remember more of the names. Special thanks to Hussein for all his help! We will have many pleasant memories.
