Alila Fort Bishangarh

Had a lovely stay at Alila Fort Bishangarh...A perfect combination of an awesome location with excellent service... The entire Team at the Hotel Alila makes every possible effort to make your stay comfortable...Had authentic Rajasthani food (bishargarh thala) thanks to Narendra .... and one thing is for sure....All the staff particularly the Cart Drivers can give professional photographers a run for their money....they click excellent pictures on the request of the guests...The spa services is excellent special mention to Reena..the food is delicious.. special mention to the complimentary hi-tea.. The cart service is very prompt.It is huge property with various spots to take excellent pics. Although would like to point out few things which could have added cherry on the cake..It was our anniversary so to celebrate the special day we had chosen alila..but even though being off season and very limited occupancy they ignored our request to upgrade the rooms which generally most of the properties have done during the off season. Secondly the room was so called decorated…they could have used atleast few petals of roses if not more...have shared the picture for you to decide yourself..The washroom fittings are not clean enough.

Great hospitality, beautiful property, lip smacking food. Check in and check out was smooth, breakfast was exceptional and staff was helpful.

Probably one of my favourite stay experiences till date. Right from the checkin experience, to having all Amex FHR benefits catered to (Upgrade, Early check in, Late Checkout, $100 Credit) We got to stay in the grand room which lived up to its name and exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The food and service were phenomenal, nothing like what we have experienced before. Special shoutout to Rajiya/Neelam (CheckIn and POC), Deep and Abhishek at the restaurant Amarsar, Bartender and the Sous and Executive chef for a surprise Dal Baati Churma at the very end!

Hi we had an amazing tym there .. all the amenities be it the pool , hi tea, kids play area everything were top notch .. food was also good.. the services towards children with attention to minor details is awesome. Thank u very much for having us.. we will definitely revisit here..

We were blown away by our visit to the Alila Fort. We saw it was a beautiful property from the photos, but we did not know it would be the highlight of our India trip. We were assigned to Bondita, our personal concierge. She was very professional and a wonderful ambassador for the Alila Fort. Bondita made herself available to us 24/7, and I found that out when I contacted her with a question during her off hours. I asked about the children in the village and she checked with her supervisor before taking us to the school to meet the children and staff. Visiting with the local villagers was the highlight of our 10-day visit to India and Bondita handled it all before her work day even began.

I feel like this is a review in 2 parts. First the great part. It’s a really unique place as a fort that has been converted into a hotel by Hyatt. They class it as one of their exceptional hotels around the world. The rooms are enormous(!) and the service is pretty good. The hotel has an infinity pool which you get to by golf buggy from the fort. Food is pretty good with a mix of Rajistani cuisine and small amount of “other”. There is also a very lovely bar in the fort. Drinks also not too badly priced. The spa is very welcoming and the masseur’s very good. On the flip side, whilst everything is clean,the robes and towels are quite shabby and could do with being upgraded. As a 5* hotel you would expect this and bath sheets rather than oversized hand towels. Whilst some staff speak excellent English others speak hardly any- which whilst not an issue as we realise you are located in a village and staff are from the area, others may find this difficult. Those that speak excellently tend to have come from Mumbai. Looking at this purely from expectations of a 5* hotel, some of the staff have dirty uniforms, stand around with hands in pockets, or when asked for something like a drink by the pool, simply forget! As I say, doesn’t bother me, we were on Indian Stretchy Time when we were there, but other guests may get annoyed. It seems mainly geared up to Indian guests, getting away for a few days or weddings rather than western travellers. We would particularly like to mention Santosh and Sakshi however who were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay
