Fairfield Inn & Suites Jacksonville Beach

Evacuated from Daytona area to escape Hurricane Milton. Very appreciative Jessica at front desk answered the phone and assisted with securing 3 nights starting that same night. The room is spacious and pillows are plentiful! Beds comfortable. 24-hr coffee and breakfast good; a cut above this level with the delicious ham/ cheese/egg croissant! When our ac unit went out at 8pm night of Hurricane’s arrival, Sidney responded right away and swapped the unit from on-hand inventory. Very impressive! Even with the entire 3rd floor under construction, workers maintained reasonable work hours and courteous whenever encountered them. Entire staff has been friendly. A real pleasure to stay here. Thank you!

There's nothing pleasant about this Fairfield except the location,, separated from the beach only by a courtyard hotel. The black lady who worked the night shift Tuesday and Wednesday April 16 to 18 was particularly with a bad attitude . Lied about the availability of rooms other than the first floor and argued with me about Bonvoy Platinum being eligible for 4pm checkout . Did not bother checking her knowledge until I showed her on the Marriott app. The property could use an update but is generally aging, although not necessarily dirty. Would probably have felt better without the reception.

This was a very disappointing experience. I reserved and paid for a king ocean view balcony room. When we arrived to check-in around 9P, there were no more king rooms available and no ocean view rooms. The only reason we selected the hotel was to have an ocean view in the evening and mornings. As well it was disappointing to have to sleep in a Queen size bed (I am 5'11" and my husband is 6'4"). Good part - room was clean. But very loud, as the room faced bars. Bring ear plugs.

Raylene is the lady in charge of breakfast and she might be the most helpful, happiest person I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. She also gave my daughter a rubber ducky for the beach. She is awesome! The rooms were clean and the location is great.

I would give 4.5 stars if they allowed it. GREAT choice! My sister and I decided to do a quick long weekend at a beach - neither of us had been to Jacksonville, so we went here. I didn't want to spend a ton on a beachfront property so we decided on this Fairfield. I thought it would be about a 5 - 8 minute walk to the beach. It took about 90 seconds to walk across the street there. The breakfast was typical but very good. Staff at the desk and breakfast are excellent! The pool is very small but can cool you off. The hot tub was nice for relaxing. You can walk to a bunch of restaurants and bars and stores (8 min for some, 15 for farther ones along the beach). I also loved the beach here - clean and big...and will be returning. Some tips: The Hampton directly kitty-corner is awesome - has a great tiki bar near the beach. You can rent chairs/umbrella (only $40 per day) - try to get some right in front of the Hampton. If you need to use the bathroom - just hop up and get a drink at their tiki bar and use their restroom. Food at the tiki bar was decent and not terribly expensive (for a beachside bar at least). We really liked driving over to the Atlantic Beach area - great shops and restaurants and an older crowd. Jacksonville is VERY young crowd in the evenings. Loved our choice of this hotel!

The location is great. The stay was ok. The rooms could use a little update. Had a reservation and when I arrived there was ''no one'' at the front desk, I mean no one.. I had to wait and wait, took about 15 minutes for someone to finally show up! I was about to cancel my reservation, I was already so annoyed, I have never been to a hotel where there is no one at the front desk to welcome you and check you in immediately. I arrived at 6pm, so peak time for check ins. Also, I had asked for a late check out, 1pm, needless to say, I also had put the ''Do Not Disturb'' sign in my door, at 10 am I had a maid knocking on my door to wake me up, told her I had a late check out ( she should of known already) and also told mentioned to her that there was a sign on the door.. she played dumb like she didn't; see it, 30 minutes later, another one came to knock on my door.. the sign do not disturb was still there!!!! I mean really??? Totally unprofessional on their part! Lastly, the breakfast was horrible!!! Oh my.. horrible food, nothing I would serve to anyone, it was such a low quality, all processed food.. just yucky!!! I didn't eat any of it, thanks God I had some fruits in my car, cause there is no way I would of touch that food! So just beware.. don't expect much for the service, nothing special about this property. It was clean, that's the good part!

Very nice friendly staff. Short walk across the street to beach. Decent breakfast each morning. Property and room was clean. Decent breakfast in the morning included with our stay. Close to dinning.

LUIS FRONT DESK CLERK WAS VERY HELPFUL IN ANSWERING ALL OUR QUESTIONS AND HE WAS VERY WELL MANNERED AND HELPFUL ! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HE DESERVE SOME TYPE OF AWARD FOR WHAT HE DID FOR US!PS THE SECOND DAY I RAN INTO A PROBLEM WITH NO HOT WATER IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL AND THEY SAID THEY ONLY CLEAN THE EVERY OTHER DAY NOT EVERY DAY !

I booked at AAA Hot Deals rate which included self parking. Upon speaking with Ebony, at the front desk, I was told the property would not honor it. She said there were no rates that included parking. She said if I booked that rate, I will still be charged another $12 for parking. I tried to explain that there were 2 AAA Hot Deals. One mentioned parking, and the other was $7 more to include parking. She disregarded me.
