Friendly, accommodating and a great experience overall! I have a gluten allergy and they adjusted all food to meet my needs and it was fabulous! Bed was comfortable. Gwenn and Glenn were great hosts! Gwenn even made a dinner reservation for us at a local restaurant as we were arriving late and celebrating our anniversary! Dinner at Proud Richard’s was also very good!

The loving attention to detail at this place restored our faith in Bed and Breakfasts. Character, warmth, comfort and beauty wove together to create a delightfully positive memory for our family--all the way down to homemade cookies with cold glasses of milk by a festive fireside as my kids played chess. The hosts are masters of hospitality.

Gwen, Glen, Kelly and Casey are such great people. They cater to your every need with open arms and hearts. Breakfast is always to die for. Different each day and on matching place settings of a different design. We can't say enough about how great or stays have been.

The bed and breakfast is beautiful inside and out. The hosts were awesome and really helped us have an enjoyable and relaxing time. The breakfast was delicious! And there were plenty of free snacks, soda and water. We will definitely go back. Thanks Gwenn and Glenn!

This was a stay that blew our previous stay at a 5 star hotel out of the water. The house was beautiful, the hosts were incredibly kind, and the service was top notch. I can't say enough good things about Blessings on State Street. If you take one thing away from this review, it should be that you NEED to experience this little paradise.

This was the sweetest and most friendliest bed and breakfast I have ever been to! So comfortable… peaceful and just the right place for me to feel decompressed. Inkeepers Gwenn and Glenn were so attentive and truly cared about my experience staying at their Bed and Breakfast. I will absolutely be back. Even if just to connect with Gwenn and Glenn!! Highly recommend! Also, the cookies and milk at night time is the sweetest touch! Thank you Glenn! God Bless Blessings on State!

This is the most special place. Gwen and Glen are absolutely the most gracious hosts. We were even given fresh baked cookies and milk at bedtime! The breakfasts that were provided were absolutely delicious! Thank you both!!!

I stayed 2 nights at Blessings while I had some business in the area and wow was I spoiled rotten! From the minute I stepped in the door of this beautiful historic home I was treated like royalty. Gwenn has thought of EVERYTHING to make her guests feel pampered. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, the bath products are luxurious, and the bed sheets are the best I have ever slept on! Around 9:00pm there was a knock on my door as warm cookies and milk were delivered! After a good nights sleep, I was treated to a gourmet breakfast served on fine china at a small table by the window. The food was so yummy that I requested the recipes. So instead of staying at a hotel while I am in the Central Illinois area, Blessings will be my home away from home! I already booked 2 more stays! Thank you Gwenn and Glen for making feel like family while traveling away from my loved ones.

Absolute gem in Jacksonville, if you are going to Jacksonville, you must stay here. Gwen and Glenn were absolutely fantastic. The home is stunning, the room super comfortable and the breakfast each day was unbelievably good. Will certainly stay here next time we are in Jacksonville. Thank you for an awesome experience.
