Tainaron Blue Retreat

We booked this hotel wanting absolute serenity and relaxation and it delivered 100%. The size of the property is perfect for those looking to escape - only 4 rooms - and the aspect and views are breathtaking. Photos do not do it justice. The rooms are well sized given that the hotel is an old Mani Tower. Because of the size it feels like most of the shared space around the pool area is private. Special mention to go to owner Kostas who has bought this place to life - he is engaging, knowledgeable about the local area and passionate about the region and his guests hospitality. We did quite a bit of exploring during our stay but it would be perfectly possible to spend your entire stay within the walls of the property and have your every need catered for. The food we had on our first night was delicious, and so to was the breakfast every morning. We have been hesitant to mention the address to too many people only because we selfishly want it to remain a hidden gem! We can’t wait to come back and stay again and enjoy Deep Mani knowing that we have paradise to go back to at the end of a day exploring.

Thank you to the owner and his entire team for the quality of their welcome and their service. We were in the room with pool and sea view with lots of charm. The setting is sublime and the cuisine is excellent. Thank you for all your little touches. Rest is guaranteed, to be recommended without hesitation!

Painstakingly restored by the owner and his wife it immerses you into the world of old Mani. Situated high on a cliff there are endless vistas. Combine this with the authentic high class cuisine served under olive trees and what is there more to be desired.

Your host is the genial, welcoming architect, Kostas, who has expertly restored an elegant Maniot tower to provide four small, but exquisitely styled rooms. Delicious breakfasts and dinners are served by him and his attentive staff on the spacious terrace, near the gleaming infinity pool that merges with the magnificent view of the blue, blue sea and sky above. Utterly transformative.

Definitely the best hotel of Mani!!! Ideal place to relax and spend all your day at the pool overlooking the magnificent view. It is a small 4 room traditional tower with a very luxury feeling. Food, including breakfast, is off the charts! Greek gourmet style with well sized portions and fantastic flavours! Mr. Kostas is such a great host, taking care of everything!
