Fatma Sultan Hotel

Prime location in Sultanahmet, just behind Blue Masjid and walking distance of Hagia Sophia. Cosy rooms with nice big windows letting in lots of natural light. Cleaned regularly and staff managed extremely well by Nargiz. She is well educated, speaks great English and really ensures her and the staff go the extra mile for the customer's satisfaction. Highly recommend.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Fatma Sultan Hotel in Istanbul. Location of the hotel was fantastic for sight seeing, right behind the Blue Mosque. My checkin was middle of the night and Nargis, the hotel manager ensured that we were taken to our room quickly. I wasnt keen on the garden room we booked on the ground floor as the room didnt seem to be sound proof. When I asked for a different room the following morning, Nargis was very accommodating and provided us with another room on the second floor. No noise and we were very happy 😊. Nargis went above and beyond in helping us during our stay, recommending places to eat, booking tours, providing travel advice and also allowing us to borrow her Istanbul card to use public transport! I think it's the hospitality of the staff that makes a hotel and Nargis is certainly an asset! Hotel does not offer breakfast however this is Istanbul and there's no shortage of breakfast places and only a stones throw away. Thank you Nargis for looking after us and making this such a lovely trip.
