Pege Hotel

Pege Hotel was an excellent choice in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. Many positives, but the highlight was hotelier Ömer and just how helpful he was - at the hotel, with recommendations in the district and in spending lots of time telling us about other places to visit in Türkiye and helping to find and book onward travel. Other staff were also very nice too. The hotel was cosy and comfortable with an interesting rooftop view from our 1st floor room, and an even better one from the rooftop balcony. We ended up extending our stay from 5 to 8 nights. The area was close to all sites but also had some good, cheaper, local restaurants nearby.

Went to stay here for one night recently, was really amazed by the quality of service provided by Kaan, he was amazing and so polite, he helped my mother a lot and treated her like his own. clean rooms also can't ask for anything else. Thank you Kaan

While planning our first international trip as a family, we were worried about where to stay and whether we could trust the reviews. Pege Hotel was the only place we found that had amazing reviews across multiple websites and could easily accommodate our family of five. We couldn't have been happier! Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and we were offered unlimited bottled water. Omer and his staff were very friendly and offered great suggestions on sightseeing and restaurants. The hotel is perfectly located within easy walking distance of the Old City attractions, restaurants, and metro stations. The area is very quiet at night, so it's easy to get a good night's sleep, and it's a quick metro ride to nightlife when you want a night out. Pege Hotel is a real gem and we're so happy that we found it!!

I had a great week in Istanbul. The Pege hotel is a pleasant, clean hotel, situated in a quiet and very central location in Sultanhamet. All historical sites are within walking distance. Both the owner Omer, and the other employees were very friendly and helpful. Before arrival I already received the necessary information about how you reach the hotel most easily, and guidelines regarding taxi prices. On arrival I received a map from Omer, and a lot of useful information and tips. He also has a handy blog where you can check the necessary info. I would book the hotel again. So I can highly recommend it!

After lots of searching for a place to stay in the old part of Istanbul (Sultanhamet), we decided on Pege Hotel. Great decision! Everything you would want to see is very close, just a few minutes walking. Hotel is very comfortable and the hospitality (especially Omer) is the best I have ever experienced at a hotel. Everyone speaks english and is ready to help in any way possible. We would highly recommend this reasonably priced boutique hotel!

Amazing stay at the Pege hotel it’s in a central location close to all of the attractions and everything is within walking distance such as the Bizarre, Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia as-well as loads of bars, restaurants, shops and the trams which take you all over Istanbul. Omer and his staff are great they really do look after you and make you feel welcome and comfortable! It was my birthday while we were there and the hotel got me a lovely box of baklava (super delicious) and left me a lovely note wishing me a happy birthday which was very much appreciated and a lovely surprise. The hotel itself is very clean, modern and has everything you need! Especially enjoyed the Turkish çay! Very comfortable stay in a comfy bed just what you need after a busy day! Honestly this hotel is fabulous and we will definitely be returning soon! Thank you again Ömer and The Pege staff! :)
