Almina Hotel - Special Class

Está muy bien situado, el personal del hotel es muy amable y te ayudan en todo lo que te haga falta, las habitaciones son un poco pequeñas y sobre todo los cuartos de baños, el tren pasa a 10 metros del hotel ( lo bueno que cortan a las 23:00 hasta las 6:00 de la mañana) en general positivo sobre todo por la ubicación y el personal del hotel.

Отель в старой части Стамбула. Очень маленький и уютный. Пешее расположение до многих достопримечательностей , трамвайных остановок,метро и парома. Очень хорошие завтраки. За это вообще отдельное сердечко.

I travel very often, but this is the first time I've encountered such terrible attitude towards guests in my entire life. My personal belongings were thrown out of my room during cleaning!!! My cup that I take with me in every trip, a chocolate bar, my bottle of water!!! I'm just shocked!!! There are no words... Never stay in this hotel. It is no rest only bad mood

We arrived 15 min before the official 2 pm check in, only to discover that our room wasn’t ready at all, although i wrote to them one month before to ask them for everything to be perfect as my husband and I are celebrating something special (we booked the transfer from the airport through them, so they were totally aware of our arrival). We actually ended up waiting in the reception until 3.30 pm when our room was finally done. During this never ending wait, I asked the lady at the reception to call the manager and she lied to my face only to bring back another receptionist pretending to be the manager and laugh and talk about us in turkish to our faces. When we finally got our room, we ended up on a construction site on our entire floor, with jackhammer and drill noises, dust and mess everywhere as they were redoing 3 out of the 5 rooms on the second floor. So this was beyond everything special we asked them to have. The room itself is dated, everything is old, rusty and moldy, but i have never encountered in all my travels a more disgusting carpet than the one in this hotel and room, never ever has it been properly cleaned. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything outside the room. Moreover, there is a construction site right behind the hotel, they are doing a railroad 5 m from the hotel and they worked from 8 am even on saturday and sunday, so no quiet time for us whatsoever during our entire trip. Very expensive stay for what they offer.

We had a great 4 night stay at Almina Hotel which came with daily buffet breakfast. There are many many hotels to choose in Istanbul and we made a wise choice. Front desk and service staff in the restaurant were all friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with daily cleaning - no air condition as I recall with a small attached bathroom. The restaurant had a nice view of the city and a fairly good spread of local breakfast dishes. Location was splendid, a 15 minute walk to the Blue Mosque after you get oriented as the little narrow lanes can get quite confusing. This was a quaint, boutique hotel and highly recommended.

Great hotel with a great location. Staff are amazing and very helpful a special shout out to Rohat who made the stay very memorable. Staff are very helpful and guide you. Location is the best for a the first time being in Istanbul.
