Nice place, nice food, good service.A little bit noisy because the door isn't soundproof.

應該屬於家庭旅館?前台蠻友善的，我以為沒配備浴巾呢走下去問告訴我在床上，前台看我一臉茫然又跑去二樓拿了一套給我，房間不大（配備倒是挺齊全的），隔音不太好（走廊的動靜能聽見，不過11點過後住客都比較安靜），有備用暖氣（冬天建議晚上睡覺拿出來用，portree還是有點冷的）還送了茶包咖啡礦泉水還有walker的餅乾 早餐是送的，菜單上的幾個套餐選一個還有額外的自助區（簡單的水果和牛奶飲料和可頌），早餐蠻好吃的。自費了晚餐，青口貝很好吃。 需要自帶:拖鞋，牙刷牙膏，梳子 房間配備:洗髮水沐浴露，燒水壺

立地は最高です。少し施設は古いですが全て清潔に保たれています。しかし少し値段が高いのが欠点だと思います。

The food was Delicious at the hotel. The best food we have had in the last 12 days traveling through Scotland. The staff was super nice and the drinks were really good.

Many thanks for a 2-day wonderful stay. Check in was a breeze, the accommodations are Lovely and spotless. The room was exactly what we were looking for, and the Hotel was centrally located so we could walk to a restaurant for dinner. Morning breakfast included a hot and cold selection that exceeded expectations, and we were lucky enough to sample & enjoy the pastry chef's first ever home made donuts! the dinner menu gave us lots of choices, and the food was first rate. We stayed at the Portree Hotel last week and were fortunate enough to get a table in the restaurant. The meal both my husband and I had were exceptionally. My husband had the pigs cheeks with black pudding & escallops for starter which was amazing however it was topped by his main meal which was Halibut on celeriac mash with a red wine jus. Over the years we have eaten in some of the great restaurants however this, he believed was one of the best meals he has ever had. Clearly the chef knows what he is doing. It's worth a trip to Portree just to experience the food at this hotel.

Love the on-site restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was especially good – great food and large portions. Food and service was excellent. Location is perfect - right in the middle of town, very convenient for public transit, parking, or walking around. Cons - No elevator, small rooms, small beds, rooms were quite warm in mid-summer. On the positive side, rooms were quiet and clean. Enjoyed the historic feel of the place. Probably the best option in town, especially for a mid-range cost. Tip – if you want to eat dinner in the restaurant (which is well worth it), call ahead to book reservations, they were turning lots of people away. Also to note, they don’t have their own parking lot, but you can park in the paid parking lot down the street, which is free between 8 pm and 8 am

A simple hotel in a good location for visiting the rest of Skye. The room was simple and clean, however, the food was disappointing. It was overpriced and mostly tasteless, including a slightly odd option of smoked salmon on top of cooked salmon. Unfortunately the nearby restaurants with better reviews were closed the evening we stayed.

Hotel staff is ANTI-AMERICAN. Reception desk staff member was wearing large Anti-American pin on her blouse. As an American, I found this highly offensive. Manager was apologetic but didn’t seem too concerned about alienating their guests in this manner. So disappointing to see such poor judgment when it comes to interacting with their foreign guests.

The room was very nice with lots of space. The bed was very comfortable with luxurious linens. We slept very good and the room was very quiet even though it was right on the square. The staff made sure we had reservations in the dining room, which was completely booked by the time we checked in, and the food was great.

Wonderful location in the center of town. Room had a nice view of the square. Menu is limited and you MUST reserve a table in advance. The food was fine but unless you ask for a special coffee in the morning, you will be served instant. The beds are comfortable but no plug for the hairdryer in the bathroom.
