We stayed 5 nights mid September. We had booked a sea view adapted room, as my wife has limited walking but doesn't use a wheel chair. We arrive late and first impressions were not good. There was a lack of accessible storage, only wardrobe, and very limited surfaces for putting things, although the room was spacious. Most difficult was the distance walking to reception, dining room, pool etc. This was improved next day when we asked for a change of room, and were told we could use the staff lift. The problem is the design of the hotel, with very large open areas and only 1 central block of lifts. It also makes the interior rather soulless. Most things however were very good. The buffet breakfast and evening meal were superb, with much choice and good replenishment as items ran out. At first the size of the restaurant was big problem but eventually we managed to get a fairly central table each time to reduce distances for walking. We used both pools, indoor heated and outside. They were both very good. We found all the staff helpful, particularly the older ladies on reception. Overall however we would not return because of the size/walking distance problem. For younger people this may not be a significant problem.
