It is unassuming on the outside but on the double queen #7 was nice, spacious, and very clean. It had a small private patio with a sandy path thru some gardens to the pool and bar/grill. We had an enjoyable meal at the grilll. Nothing fancy but nicely prepared and the view and breeze were great. The drinks were very reasonable and very strong! Staff was tremendous. It was high season. We were not quite prepared for the higher overall prices in the Keys including this motel so be ready for that. That said, the Ocean View was great value compared to others we stayed at in the price range and much more charming.

This is a very quaint motel like inn. It’s close to the road but you don’t hear any traffic in your room. . And each room has a private patio in the back that is beautifully landscaped. My husband and I really enjoyed sitting there with our wine. Each room also has a path that leads to the very nice pool area. There’s also a trail to the water. If you get hungry, the pub is next store. The wings are really good. I highly recommend this place

When you think of how motels along the Florida Keys used to be, this is it. A hard-to-find gem. The Ocean View Inn sits directly on the bay complete with pier, small restaurant and bar, swimming pool and maybe 7 rooms. Mid-December we stayed at the motel a few evenings and enjoyed lots of local camaraderie. Overall, the place seems well maintained and managed. The woman who appears to know how to run the place, Cindy, was super accommodating. Kudos to the chef for the perfectly prepared Seared Ahi Tuna and bartender Shane for delivering with a beautiful smile!

Our server Sarah was amazing Nice frosted mugs of Yuengling draft, instead of a plastic cup Shirmp basket was just OK. They need to get rid of the rusty, annoying LOUD fan 🙄 the noise, and the loud music, not enjoyable at all ... it's a cute old Florida spot, please make it a more relaxing experience

My husband and I are here on our honey moon. Would 10/10 recommend. Everyone here is so so friendly, and our trip so far has been nothing but amazing and the people are so fun to be around. I would definitely come back and make this an every year trip.

An excellent spot for a stopover on the way down to or back from Key West. Good and lively bars both indoors and outside. Popular with locals who come for the regular music nights. Very friendly and good fun. Only 5 rooms I think so book early if this is somewhere you choose to stay.

Room needs basic upgrades like a new toilet seat and countertops. Also no soundproofing between rooms and when we contacted the manager about loud neighbors they hung up on us!! Terrible customer service!!!

Great place given the high Key’s prices make this place seem like a pretty good deal. Problem is the rather large, very friendly but completely crazy owner has delusions about having played professional football. Seems to believe he has a Super Bowl ring or two. The pool, by the way, is to die for.

This place was so much fun especially if you liked to watch sports on tv. The dolphin fingers and pork sliders were delicious and the beer was cold. Came back here three times in our six night stay. Will come back again for sure when we come this way again.
