Hotel Margala

I've stayed at this amazing hotel for 5 days. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They were always smiling and attentive to all of your needs A massive shout out to Hafeez Ahmed (Laundry) and Saad (Restaurant staff) for always helping me (Not to forget all other staff). Breakfast and Dinner buffets were worth it. If you're a foreigner and planning to visit Islamabad, this is the place you should pick!

I stayed in Room 432 and had a delightful experience. The location is perfect, offering easy access to key attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing excellent comfort. The service from the staff was exceptional—friendly, professional, and always helpful. This hotel offers great value for money, with top-notch cleanliness and excellent sleep quality thanks to the cozy bed and peaceful environment. Overall, a truly enjoyable stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

A superb hotel! I stayed here with friends from London during the Pakistan v England Test Match and we could not have been made to feel more welcome by the the extremely friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent, right next to Islamabad Club, with views over 22nd and 23rd holes of the 'new' section of the golf course. The gardens are beautifully manicured and the flowers and plants attract host a variety of butterflies and birdlife, including woodpeckers and hoopoes. Our rooms were of a very high standard, very clean and comfortable, with a few steps leading down to a separate living area with two sofas and armchairs. Breakfast each morning at the buffet restaurant was delicious, with eggs and omelettes cooked to order and a wide range of other dishes available, catering to all tastes. The Margala is very conveniently situated, a two minute drive from the Serena Hotel (where the England team were staying), with central Islamabad and Rawalpindi only a few minutes away by car. Pindi stadium is 20mins and the airport is 30mins away. All in all, a truly memorable stay at Margala - a huge thank you to all the staff for making us so very welcome!

What a fabulous hotel! I stayed here with 3 friends from London in October, as we were in town for the England Vs Pakistan Test Match. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the friendly and helpful team. Our rooms were of a very high standard, extremely clean and comfortable. We ate a lovely breakfast at the buffet restaurant each morning and we also had good experiences of the dinner service and room service. We were able to rent a car and driver using the Rent a Car Desk at the hotel for the duration of our stay (absolutely essential in our opinion). The hotel is very well situated, right next to the Islamabad Club for golf, and close to other hotels to access more restaurants. Central Islamabad (sector F-7, F-8) is only 10mins away for authentic local restaurants and Pindi stadium is 20mins away. The airport is 30mins away. During our stay we visited Murree (1hr away) and the hills - the hotel is a great place to explore the area from. A very safe and secure set up on entry meant that we were very comfortable throughout our stay, but the highlight for us was the helpful and friendly staff.

My recent stay at The Margala Hotel was truly memorable. location is ideal, close to all the key spots, yet tucked away enough to provide a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The value for money is outstanding—everything from the room quality to the amenities felt luxurious at a very reasonable price. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the staff’s attention to detail really stands out. I want to give a special thanks to Sawera, GSO at reception, for her warm welcome and exceptional service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great value and superb service.
