Puerta Al Mar

We stayed in 105. The condo was great,clean, and well stocked. They provided ample water, towels, etc. When the power was on, the ac was good. The reason for the lack of star is the power outage and the generator not working. The owners we met there (who were all pleasant and kind) said they just updated the generator and it's not going well. Our first night, we had 12 hours of no power. That means no clean water either. So, plan ahead and fill bottles of water to brush your teeth, drink, etc. The first 3 nights we had power outages to some extent and this was a problem for our cpap usage. Sleeping didn't really occur for one member of the family because he couldn't breathe. Plan for this if you have a cpap. If they fix the generator, Condo 105 would be a 5 star for sure.

This property is beautifully kept, the staff are friendly and enthusiastic to help. Proximity to the beach is outstanding! We stayed in unit #105 and it was exactly what we wanted and needed in a condo. This was the first time we stayed off of North Beach and we loved it! The Sac Bajo area is mostly quiet and dark at night. There is a Disco 2 doors down that went until 6am the Saturday night we were there. Not my favorite, but not the fault of Puerta al Mar. So bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper like me 😉. We also really appreciated the mid-week cleaning, we were not expecting that. We rented a golf cart for the whole week and went to various Isla restaurants, which are excellent. We loved our stay will definitely be back to Puerta al Mar
