Isamar Hotel

Beautiful hotel right on the beach, comfortable, spacious rooms and friendly staff, within walking distance of several restaurants. We were lucky to be allocated the two front rooms, opening right on to the terrace. Sun-loungers and tables available on the terrace. Breakfast was very good, lots of fresh fruit, pastries, granola and cooked items. Highly recommend!

Isamar Hotel is a lovely, quiet, picturesque hotel located right on the beautiful beach on spectacular Isabela island (in Galapagos islands). Our room had a sliding door with full view of beach! It is not a super posh place but has large rooms, thoughtful amenities and a very good breakfast each morning (while gazing at beach). There are tables, chairs and small beach bar, all literally next to the sandy beach. The hotel is a short walk to center of the quiet town where there were several good cafes and some shops. They had a friendly, super helpful staff. Katie and Tamya were always around to answer questions and give advice. Tamya even volunteered to come to the hotel at 5am (5 hrs before her shift) if we needed help with a luggage issue. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very helpful. It's a 5 minute walk along the beach into the main street of Puerto Villamil. The breakfast was personalised and really tasty. The team gave us recommendations of local tour operators to use, which was really helpful. The room had comfortable beds, A/C, a TV and a good hot shower. Wifi was a little inconsistent but not surprising given where we were. I would definitely stay here again.

We spent 3 lovely days/nights on Isabela in this hotel. We were right in front of the beach, nights were excellent. Staff is friendly, food is very tasty and breakfast well furnished. Close to the wharf and main village square... we highly recommend

Wonderful. Incredible location on a pristine beach. Rooms were fantastic. Huge patio right on the beach. rooms were lovely. They had air-conditioning but you could also leave the sliding door open to hear the waves. Beds where comfortable l; bathrooms were modern. Rooms super.

Isamar became the highlight of our 3 islands Galapagos tour with its outstanding service. The manager/owner Juan was present on premises constantly guiding his team and supervising himself all needs were attended to perfection. The welcome and reception assistance was excellent from the very first moment to the last. Upon arrival, we have been given relevant information not only on the hotel but also on the island. At our departure, when EMETEBE decided to change our flight time last minute we faced the risk of missing our flight. The reception staff immediately interevened with the company and was kind enough to even propose to accompany us to the airport to make sure we would not miss our flight. The food was the best we tried on Isabella and we were sorry for wasting our time in an effort to try out other restaurants. Overall, Isamar was an excellent experience for our family. Don’t look further if service quality is important for you.
