Hotel Annabelle

Hotel Annabelle was a delight! Arriving by bus from the port was very easy, and I was welcomed by the family when I arrived. Everyone was very helpful and kind during my stay, helping me with information about transport, postal services, etc. Although I was traveling alone, it seems like a wonderful place for families. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming.

If you choose Annabelle, I can’t promise that the owner will invite you to a private party with food and drinks, music and lighting, and a fashion show. I CAN promise a family hotel where you will feel at home. Great location near bus lines and a taxi stand, easy walk to the port. Swimming pool in back. Don’t go anywhere else…

We have just returned from the most wonderful 10 day stay at Hotel Annabelle. Where to start?? From the moment we arrived we were given the lovliest welcome by Annabella and Lucia and immediately felt at home. The hotel was everything we wanted and more - traditional, autentically Italian and so very pretty. Our room was sparkling clean with a huge comfortable bed,a fabulous (double) shower and a lovely balcony. The hotel is set only a few minutes walk from the port, beach and restaurants - easy. We loved the pool area which was so pretty and tranquil. Everything was just perfect. But even more than that, it was the family that made it even more special - Annabella, Lucia, Gennaro and Papa took us to in with such kindness and affection that melted our hearts. It was our first time to Ischia and Annabella went above and beyond every day with recommendations and directions - she knows everything about the island and nothing was too much trouble. We were blown absolutely blown away with the beauty of the island and the food is just world class. We adored our holiday in Ischia and it was an absolute delight to stay at Hotel Annablle. I could not recommend it highly enough. We hope to return next year and we would not even consider staying anywhere else. Grazie mille to all the family for your hospitality and hugs. Lucia, you are a diamond and it was an absolute pleasure to meet you. Papa, I promised you I would be able to speak to you in Italian the next time I see you and I'm working on that!. Gennaro, thanks for kindly seeing us through our slightly vino hungover breakfasts! And of course, Annabella - you only had to hear the sound of my flip-flops coming down the stairs and you were there with open arms - it's no wonder I was in tears when we were saying arrivederci! It was the perfect holiday, on the perfect island, in the perfect hotel. Ciao for now!!
