My regular to go hotel, in a good neighborhood with yummy food nearby

Had a wonderful stay here. The modern concept of the property is impressive and creates a cozy atmosphere. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly. Everything was well-maintained and there's also free washer at the top floor. Highly recommended!

It was a pleasing stay here in M roof hotel. Everything was perfect, the room, the service. Will definitely come again here if around ipoh

The hotel is poorly upkept despite being quite new. The bath and toilet areas are not cleaned….stains and smelly. We suspect the bedsheet was not changed …. There were stains and hair on it. Luckily the front office were quite efficient and they moved us to another room.

3rd time stay at this hotel when travelling to Ipoh. Hotel well maintained and good price. It’s about 3km from downtown which can take grab car.

The room was large, comfortable, and had a great smart TV. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast buffet. I paid extra for it, but when I arrived at 9 AM, many items were already finished. When I asked if they would refill the food, the staff response was sarcastic. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, they only refilled scrambled eggs and a small amount of fried chicken. th veriation for the food very little. The rice was also available, but there were no other dishes to go with it—just rice! Other guests were also unhappy, but no further action was taken by the staff. In the end, my family had to settle for just hashbrowns and hotdogs. Thankfully, the front desk staff was polite and comfort, but overall, the kitchen service was bad very bad. We ended up ordering from GrabFood.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is great, and the hotel provides four EV charging bays, which is a fantastic convenience for electric vehicle users. This feature alone is a big plus. However, I found the room situation less satisfying. I booked a Deluxe King Plus room, but it seemed no different in size or amenities from the regular Deluxe King room, which was a bit disappointing. The room had a noticeable odor, and unfortunately, the bedding and towels were not up to standard. The bedsheets looked worn and yellowed, and the towels were also discolored, appearing dark and yellow. This made the overall room feel less clean and comfortable than expected. If the hotel can address the upkeep of its linens and improve the overall cleanliness, it could be a much more enjoyable stay, especially with the EV amenities in place.

Cleanliness: very bad, the toilet was full of mould and yellow stains. The walls and tiles on the basin area were all stained and yellow, absolutely gross to look at. We did feedback to the hotel on the spot and they sent someone to clean, but it was still as gross with no difference. The hotel did not offer to change a room for us until we asked, but the new room we got was equally as bad and we did not bother to change after that (maybe the rooms are all as nasty…?) Service: strangely the check in time was 3pm, and when we called ahead to check if we could check in an hour or two earlier, the staff who picked up did not even check room availabilities and said “NO” right away… Parking: outdoor unsheltered parking, troublesome when it rains TLDR; will stick to WEIL hotel next time when we’re in Ipoh. For the price we paid, even an Airbnb or budget hotel (lol) would do better than M roof

Great location and close to town center. Swimming pool need to be clean up more frequent or maintenance to ensure clean & clear water. Room was fine, however, housekeeper need to ensure hand soap is always refilled. Overall experience still ok, only minor improvement required. Keep up the good work!

Location is good and strategic. Parking is open space. Friendly staff. Room is pretty clean and it's good for a night sleep. Bathroom sliding door is hard to slide. Got to use some strength to push it. I've got a room which is linked to another room. So we can hear when the other occupants are talking or opening door. So can be a bit noisy but still bearable. Overall a pleasant stay
