Marcos Beach

A wonderful family run hotel. If I were to visit Ios again, I would stay here. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and bed comfortable. Ideal location for access to the beach via path that takes around 5 minutes. Breakfast is simple but does what it needs to! The family are super helpful with anything you need and are a credit to the tourism industry.

A Beautiful family run hotel with lovely sea views. Marcos, Jackie and Harry were great hosts and went out of their way to help us from taxi's, island information and last minute extended stay. The hotel has a lovely pool and everywhere is spotless. Its 5 mins from the hotel down a track to the beach and there are regular buses or taxi's to take you into the town. Will definitely be back when we can. Thank you all for helping us have an amazing holiday !!

Marcos beach you were fantastic. Family run hotel owned by Marcos, Jackie and Harry. We were made very welcome by Jackie who arranged car hire for us at a very good rate. Harry gave us loads of information about the island and its beaches, restaurants etc. He's very popular with the guests. All rooms seemed to have a Seaview which was a bonus. Nice swimming pool and a great location for the beach and the bus stop to the village and beaches. We will definatly be returning to the Marcos beach hotel. Thank you for an amazing 6 days!

Everything was good! Thank you Boss, Jackie and Henry. - And Anna for super service and kindness during her Short visit. Specially thank you for privacy when needed ( had to work a bit). And for the whole Family specially for the natural and not fake kindness. And the cleaning cree!

Marcos Beach is located on a strategic hill overlooking the most evocative seafront of jos, a family-run establishment, equipped with all comforts, a stone's throw from the sea and from chora, the beating heart of the island's nightlife. Attentive to guests' needs, cordial and kind, the Marcos family members guarantee a punctual and discreet service! Particular attention to cleaning! Definitely recommended! Happy holiday!

Had the pleasure of being the 3rd and 4th visitors of the 2022 season in May. Welcomed at the port by Harry, who at that point didn’t tell us he was the owners son and then driven c6/7minutes to the hotel. Then welcomed by Jackie, (the owner with her husband Marco). We were in room 29 (might have been 28) which is on higher level and has great views over Milopotas beach. Typical Greek shower in bathroom. Room was a good size with a covered balcony with table & chairs. For us, a kettle would have been a welcome addition for early morning drinks. The free aircon and safe were an added bonus. Pool area spotless and spacious with gazebos sheltering cushioned seats as well as the usual sun beds. Didn’t have a ‘pool bar person’ when we went as whoever was in reception would come out if there was nobody behind bar, we just had to ask. Cleaners were brilliant and bedroom kept spotless. Bedding/towels changed frequently, never needed to ask for this to be done. We didn’t eat from bar menu but did drink from bar and a few evenings we sat and chatted with Jackie / Harry ( and his girlfriend ). Breakfast as indicated elsewhere is self serve buffet. I was asked if I wanted them to get me Gluten-free bread, but chose not to do so as I took my own granola to have with the provided Greek yogurt. Location is perfect. It’s a small walk via steps and rough path or by road to beach and bus stop for bus to Chora is at end of road. A couple of times the bus picked us up on the downward route even though we were going to Chora as the Farout crowd would otherwise fill the bus before it got to us. We had expected the ‘noise’ from Farout would carry up the hill, but it didn’t. In all, a fabulous stay. Clean, friendly, great location, good rooms, hot water whenever you needed it 😅. Would we stop again? Definitely.
