Acteon Hotel

Acteon Hotel ..... reasonable price for accommodation. Staffs are nice. Hiring cars are a bit expensive 70 euros a day so we only hire it for 1 day enough to see Ios island. Clean hotel and shops and restaurants were just downstairs of the hotel. Port is in your doorsteps but the view is best of all.

We only stayed one night at Hotel Aegeon as part of an island hop trip, and that was our only complain. But that was enough to realize that this is such a hidden treasure in Ios, a place where we definitely want to return for a longer stay. Nikos, the owner is so welcoming, I have never encountered somebody as friendly, accommodating and always ready to help no matter how busy he is. We were surprised that even though we had just one night reservation he did not hesitate to wait for us at the ferry, take us back and even giving us a ride into the city in the evening. Who else in Greece will do the same thing in the peak of the season? The hotel has a perfect location, right across from the beautiful beach, between a grocery/convenience market and a very nicely setup Italian restaurant/beach bar. Relatively close to the city on one side and walking distance to the Far Out Beach Club. What can you ask more? The hotel itself is made of a few buildings, very beautifully architected, modern but preserving the local traditions. Balconies framed by green tropical plants, where you can simply just sit and enjoy a drink, everything around you is awesome!! The hotel grounds were very well taken care of, again, with a superb landscaping. The swimming pool and the area around, even though they were rather small size, were so elegantly made and practical at the same time. Rooms were a decent size, extremely clean with AC working perfectly. The breakfast was included in the stay and it was served to us on the outside area, by the pool. Good and tasty selection and the best coffee we had in Greece. Nikos, hats off to you, you made this place a heaven for your guests!!!

I used the Acteon car hire service. The staff were very helpful, and the car was perfect for my needs. It comes with a full tank of fuel, which you can easily replace when returning the vehicle.Easily the best way to run these operations. My off/low season rate was very reasonable too. The site is right near the ferry terminal, and so is very convenient.

Hotel modesto, stanza piccola ma pulita. difetti il wi-fi non funzionante e basso isolamento dal rumore. Molto comodo per la posizione dalla quale si possono raggiungere i punti di interesse principali. Abbiamo passato una settimana in questo hotel e tutto sommato ci siamo trovati bene.

Actuellement pour une nuit. Très joli hôtel. Chambre neuve au 1er étage avec grande terrasse vue port. L’accueil se fait a l’agence de tourisme en bas de l’hôtel. La dame est très accueillante et sympathique. Un bel hôtel. N’hésitez pas à réserver

Το ένα αστέρι μπαίνει για την καθαριότητα και για το καλό internet και είναι τα μόνα που αξίζουν στο "ανακαινισμένο" όπως πλασαρίστηκε και τις ωραίες φωτογραφίες.Το ξενοδοχείο δεν έχει ασανσέρ και η μόνη ανακαίνιση που έχει γίνει είναι στις καινούργιες κουρτίνες και ένα προσκέφαλο στο κρεβάτι..Ολα τα άλλα είναι "συλλεκτικά" από παλιές εποχές.Πραγματικα λυπάμαι που έχουμε τέτοια ξενοδοχεία και αφού τα έχουμε σε κάποια νησιά,δεν πρέπει η τιμή τους να υπερβαίνει τα 50€ στην high season.Ευτυχώς ήταν για μια διανυκτέρευση !!!
