Delny Glamping

Stayed in the Smokehouse, Auld Reekie for 2 nights. Just wonderful! Hot tub overlooking fields was perfect. Private BBQ. Beautiful scenery, breakfast delivered , warm.pain au chocolate, yogurt, cereal, juice etc for £5 !. Accommodation has absolutely everything you could possibly need. A perfect cosy hideaway

From the minute we arrived we were made very welcome, sorry didn’t get the ladies name but she was very informative about the pods and the area and local places to eat Pods were very clean and tidy everything you need inside was really surprised Breakfast continental was superb they go over and beyond to make you have a fab time thank you

I visited delny glamping last night for the first time with my friend we stayed in 1 of the barrels, my friend had been before and raved about this place so I was looking forward to visiting well it didn't disappoint I was amazed what a beautiful place 😍 lovely views, barrel was lovely and cosy breakfast was great we sat outside on the table and chairs and enjoyed the beautiful morning. Arrived home and already booked our next visit staying in the chalet next with my hubby and the kids looking forward to our return in October. Also lovely welcoming hosts. 🙂

We stayed in a bothy (crabbit) on our first night starting the NC500. The little glamping pods are really lovely, a tad small but you wouldn't expect anything else. We stay as a family of 4. Paul, the owner was really friendly and welcoming and recommended some places that do delivery to the site, as we'd arrived about 8pm and hadn't had dinner yet. His recommendation was absolutely delicious 😋 K style Chinese. We sat enjoying the tranquility with a burning fire in the evening and in the morning wondered round looking at the animals. Very peaceful and quiet. We would have loved to stay another night and would highly recommend 👌

We selected this property just on instinct and TA reviews and loved it. The hostess Claire welcomed us on arrival and guided us to our lovely cottage for four of us. Offered to serve breakfast the next morning at reasonable rates and helped us by providing the bar-be-que material. It is a lovely location and very well maintained. It is good to carry your own food stuff and particulary if you want to enjoy the bar-be-que. Cottage was clean and very well maintained. The wash station had all the required things and hot water. We had a great time watching the farm animals and particularly befriending Kevin. We wish we had more time at the property. It was worth every penny. Paul and Claire are great hosts and make you feel welcome and comfortable.

After a really long journey yesterday we received such a warm welcome from Claire and Paul. Claire showed us to our cabin and was so friendly and cheerful. Just what you need after a long drive. The accommodation was really well thought out, comfortable and spot on for our overnight stay. Facilities were clean and provided everything you needed. The animals were a bonus! Our son loved going to have a chat with the bunnies, ponies and pigs. Totally recommend this for anyone wanting to explore this area or like us, someone looking to break up a journey to the far north of Scotland. A huge thank you to Claire, Paul and their team of friendly cleaners.
