The location is good. The opposite side is Harder station, close Interlaken Ost. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is good. I just don’t like the shower with a water use meter. It makes the shower heavy, not easy to hold.

All great aspects of this accommodation: convenient location, welcoming atmosphere and delicious breakfast. The retro style decoration is impressive. Highly recommended for both convenience and a scenic experience seekers.

There is only an electric fan in the room and no air conditioning, which makes it too hot at night, making it difficult to fall asleep and often waking up due to the heat. This is a big shortcoming for travelers who pursue comfort. In addition, although the retro style of the hotel has its own characteristics, the basic facilities need to be improved to provide a better accommodation experience. This stay was disappointing. I hope the hotel can improve this aspect and improve the comfort of guests.

It's a hotel with vintage stuffs collection, the lobby seems like a vintage gallery with great collection. The staffs are friendly and there are various delicious choices for breakfast, including hot meal and fresh fruit ! They also gave free transportation tickets around interlaken for the whole period of stay. Will stay again in this hotel when visiting Interlaken. Thank you CE hotel !

The hotel is lovely, clean, and well-managed. The manager is attentive, and the location is convenient. Highly recommended!

I would say worst hotel to stay for even for one day, starts with the reception guy, i can not recall the name but David Spiez something, feels like he has been punished to do this job, his eyes are half open and half asleep, and demonstrates everything like a school kid is reading a book, we arrived at 7:00 pm so i expected naturally a late checkout at 12:00, but they can not do that, come on you are not running a palace Half of the things in room dosent work specially lights and charging pods If you are sick middle of night you can not connect them otherwise they charge 50 Swiss francs, seriously, one will die waiting Elevator is ages old, while checking out i had to stepped down to tell them to look at it as other 3 rooms people are waiting to come down All in all nothing good about this hotel except in front of station, just old structure glorified with antique stuff and overpriced Also who keeps the key at reception while going out for dinner😄

Friendly front desk staff and the hotel location is gorgeous. The frontdesk helped me with an early checkin and also upgraded my room with a bath-tub. The view from the room balcony was Mesmerizing and nothing short of a heavenly view… The breakfast was descent, however a little short of vegetarian options. The chocolates at the reception desk were amazing, better than Lindt. I wish I could know where they sourced them from😁 Harder Kulm (Top of Interlaken) entrance is just in front of the hotel. The market is at walking distance and also the OST station is very closeby. Thanks Carlton Team for making our stay pleasant and memorable… Ciao!

Nice over one hundred year vintage hotel, very convenient location

I reserved one queen bed room and is mentioned one the room type but they assigned me is still are twin bed. Room is old and no amenities. No minibar in room but you can do the natural freezer if you are travel during winter time . This hotel is not recommended.

Unable to travel due to lost of passport in Italy. Hotel management not allow to cancel the booking

Location was super good, very close to the Interlaken Ost. The breakfast was so-so. The room was big but the facilities were vintage

The hotel is in a nice location-not far from the park where paragliders land, and it is right on the main street. The Interlaken Ost Banhof is al just a few meters away, making it very convenient to travel. Breakfast was awesome with a lot of variations. The staff were all nice as well. The room is kind of old with the floor creaking when you walk, but is well- maintained.
