Instow Barton

We had a lovely two nights at Instow Barton. Caroline and Colin are excellent hosts and as ex chefs, the breakfasts are fabulous ! The house is beautiful and in an incredibly peaceful location a ten minute walk from the Instow beach. Our room had plenty of space and was extremely comfortable, with great linen, dressing gowns and some really lovely local toiletries. Fresh delicious cake every day ! This is a super place to take a break - highly recommended.

Very warm welcome by Caroline, lovely touch homemade cakes in our room. The best pillows we have ever experienced in a hotel or B&B, and very comfy beds. Perfect breakfast prepared by Colin, the apple and cinnamon pastries were delicious. Just sorry we weren't staying longer, but better for the waistline that we weren't. A perfect place to stay, thank you.

Just a short walk off the South West Coast Path this B&B will not disappoint. It felt like home from home, so much so i didn’t want to leave. Fabulous large room with smart furniture. Lovely view over the church. En-suite with bath and shower. Really homely welcome and charming service. Breakfast was more than usual for a B&B with several choices and courses. Quiet location enabled a good night sleep. Stay here and you’ll wish you lived here!

Everything was to like about this charming B&B. Welcoming and attentive hosts, large comfortable bedroom, nice lounge and terrace, tasty fresh-cooked breakfast, everything clean and tidy, great value, even a barn to park the car in and lots to do in the area.

The owners are very welcoming and a great couple. The room was large and very clean. The Wi-fi was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this place. This is our second visit and we will be back. Highly recommend this B and B without hesitation.
