Pandanus Beach Resort & Spa

I really enjoyed every moment at the hotel. I loved the beach, and it was a very calm and relaxing place for our holiday. The staff was excellent, especially in the food department and with the room. Our last moments were made even more special and happy thanks to the kindness of Foshan and Kumara.

Had an terrible experience staying at this property. First, it was terribly overpriced for what it has to offer. The resort calls itself a 4 star but doesn't feel like one. The rooms are absolutely basic and don't feel premium at all. The wifi is patchy and disconnects half the time. When it works, the speed we got was 2 mbps. The pool was unclean with several ungodly things floating. Worst of all, the pillow covers smelled horrible. oh, and the ac control switch didn't work. It was either mordor or antarctica

We were greeted by one of the most pleasant male receptionists. He took us to the room 404. Really pleased with the room not to say it was perfect. Vast bathroom with a whirlpool bather, shower, toilet, bedroom was a very good size with the king size bed looking out to the Indian Ocean, through full length windows, beyond the windows is a massive balcony. Only downside was the room etc were now looking a little tired. Overall we were very happy with the hotel, the food was excellent, no egg and chips etc, most of it was Asian and we found it excellent and the menu was different most days. The waiting staff were brilliant. We were disappointed with the bars. The staff mostly at best were ignorant especially the man who we think was the bar supervisor. No smiles or greetings from most of the bar staff, no thank you or any friendliness shown. Due to medical issues I can only drink diet soft drinks. We always asked for diet drinks but a week into the holiday we were informed that we could not have diet and had not been given diet drinks. Up to that time I had been in bed for two days, and could not fathom out why. We spoke to the reception and explained the reason I needed diet drinks. We had no problem after that. But why were we not given diet drinks when asked for, this could have been very dangerous for me. Small and shallow pool. On the whole we enjoyed our three week holiday.
