Hotel Corallo

On one level, we are quite familiar with Porto Maurizio, having made day trips there for some 35 years. The objective has always been one of our favorite restaurants, Lanterna Blu. But the restaurant is rarely open for lunch now and the Trenitalia schedule returning us to Alassio shuts down around 2130! A good excuse for an overnight stay. The Corallo turned out to be a peasant selection. It is an immaculate and somewhat modernized 3 star with some 4 star touches. Our room, 404, has wraparound balconies, both a large tub and a rainwater shower, a very large and comfortable bed and a big flat screen television. One English language station (BBC) is better than none. The all white decor is a bit bland for us. But the hotel's high ocean front perch is quiet and inspiring. Breakfast was quite good, and would have been even better if the tasty scrambled eggs and bacon weren't at room temperature, sitting in an untended closed tray at 9 AM. Fine coffee, pastries, juice and yogurt were a positive. The main elevator is rather small, but not a problem for a one night stay. he front desk personnel were helpful if a little detached. Of course, we were merely overnight guests. Porto Maurizio is a charming town, and this is a convenient and desirable address. There is a decent beach below and an in house restaurant that we only tried for breakfast.

The location is good and the staff very friendly. But the room I had is totally old . Furniture old ,wooden floor not varnished any more Bathroom a disaster . Total lack of maintenance Not possible in 2023!!! Really necessary to invest

È un bell’hotel, molto ben curato sia nei servizi che nella sala pranzo sotto e nel giardino. Magnifica colazione varia e curata nella qualità, con vetrata sul mare: si inizia bene la giornata… Molto pulito, personale, super cortese Ogni tanto ci torniamo, sempre con piacere. Bravi.

Das Hotel Corallo ist absolut zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, sehr gepflegt, modern und sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 4. Etage mit Balkon und Blick auf die Marina von Porto Maurizio, Fabelhaft. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, das hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück macht ebenfalls Spaß, ob süß oder herzhaft, da findet jeder wonach ihm beliebt. Blick aufs Meer gibt es obendrauf. Wir freuen uns in Zukunft wieder einmal Gast im Corallo Imperia zu sein.

Localizzato sul mare, camera appena ristrutturata, ottima colazione in giardino fronte mare. Tutti i locali pulitissimi. Accoglienza efficiente della gentilissima Marta, delle ragazze della colazione e di tutto il personale. Grazie e complimenti!

La VUE sur la mer est splendide La chambre a une terrasse directement sur la mer, on s'endort bercé par le bruit des vagues. la baignoire dans la chambre devant la mer est une merveille L'établissement est splendide et assez majestueux. Le matelas est divin ainsi que les oreillers , tout est très confortable et propre . Le petit déjeuner est très très bien et se prend dans une salle face à la mer. Par contre, je ne conseille pas le restaurant même si le service est très bien . Les plats sont quelconque par contre l'addition est bien trop élevée rapport qualité prix Nous retournerons à l'hôtel car il est magique mais plus au restaurant. Merci à la personne de l'accueil qui est charmante, agréable et souriante. De la chambre il y a une vue stupéfiante sur la mer, la baignoire dans la chambre devant la mer est une merveille
