Barceló Illetas Albatros - Adults Only

This was a very last minute trip with my husband. The hotel was already almost full so we only had the option for a standard room. The room was compact but very clean and perfect for what we needed; we would usually like a balcony and a view but we didn't spend much time in the room so this didn't bother us. They have tea making facilities and toiletries available in the rooms. The hotel facilities are lovely and clean and the staff are super helpful and friendly. We booked bed and breakfast, there was a variety of choices every morning that did not disappoint. The pool and surrounding areas were beautiful, with fantastic views and plenty of sunbeds, they also provided clean pool towels daily, which was a nice touch. There are a few small cove beaches near by too. The area is quiet, there are a few restaurants within walking distance but busses are cheap and regular so you can visit nearby villages. We went to Puerto Portals, Cala Major, into Palma city and took a trip to soller. The location was perfect for us, we wanted quiet and relaxing but also the option for more lively with sightseeing, all which we easily achieved. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

From start to finish we cannot rate this hotel enough, the staff, the food, the pool the spa, breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from. Location is ideal, close to restaurants. Close to Palma, portals nous, beautiful beaches are also walking distance with beach restaurants. Food in Blue restaurant was amazing and service is spot on. Room was lovely, shower is huge beds are so comfy, cleaned to very high standards daily. Lots of vanity supplies, tooth brushes, body wash and shampoo are all really good quality. Cannot wait to come back next year.

Looking for an excellent adults only hotel with comfortable rooms, great surroundings and ambience, excellent food and a lovely terrace bar, set by the sea in a quiet part of Mallorca, yet near the airport and the capital city of Palma? Then look no further than the Barcelo Illetas Albatros.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay for our honeymoon in a superior sea view room on a half board basis. Every area of the hotel was spotless and every member of staff polite and helpful. The food was delicious in both restaurants. A special mention to Ivonne and Andrea fir there above and beyond service. The pool area was immaculate with a dedicated member of staff on duty for safety. The spa/well being area was truly relaxing. The views and private cove were beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful walks to other beaches and there were a few bars and restaurants should you require food elsewhere.

Food was average but the prices were fair. Drain smell in the hotel. Welcome staff were great but bar staff acted like they didn't want to be there. Maybe under staffed. Paid for a partial sea view but you would need to cut the trees down to see it. Rooms comfortable and the bed was great. Shower was great. Position of the hotel is fabulous for beaches and restaurants and a bus stop outside which takes you straight to Palma.

The hotel appears small on first arrival but as the week went by, it turned out this is a perfect place if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place to recharge the batteries. The pool area was clean and plenty of sunbeds. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb
