Park Hotel

I booked for 1 night , the shower wasn’t working ,no hairdryer in the room , the pillows were too old and can not use it , the receptionist wasn’t serving us she was rude .

Shocking. I booked a room about 7;30 paid in full. Arrived at the hotel. Bags and belongings. Sat and waited for 15 mins for someone to turn up. There was a random guy sitting on his phone who told me to sit down and wait dunno if he worked there or what I didn’t have any i.d on me. But I paid for the room. They didn’t let me stay and they kept my money said no refunds So I’m £75 out of pocket Ended up sleeping in my car. Seems like the hotel is hit of a scam they ask for £100 deposit which takes they say between 7/14/21 days to return What is all that about? Do not stay Horrible hotel horrible attitude Robbing hard working people of there money

Terrible. There is no facilities, ambience, bar or anything. It doesn’t seem to be a proper hotel either. I was actually put into a room in a house in an adjacent street. I was also ‘charged a Deposit of £100’ upon check-in which was in addition to the room fee! I am used to the idea of a hotel taking a ‘deposit’ or pre-authorisation for bar & restaurant charges…. But this dump has nothing to spend £100 on!

I had an excellent stay at the Park Hotel in Ilford, conveniently located near Valentine Park. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The 24/7 help desk provided peace of mind, and the hotel’s security made me feel safe throughout my visit. The rooms were affordable, offering great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and would definitely stay again!

If you’re considering booking your stay at this place, please DONT!!! This is the friendly advice I wish I had received before. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel and totally not worth the price. We had a reservation there booked months ago, got a taxi from central London to the suburbs where it’s located, just to arrive there and be informed that EVERY SINGLE room in the hotel was working perfectly, except for ours, which was in renovations, and yet no one made a single attempt to let us know in advance. They could have reached us by email or by phone, so we would save our time from going there. The receptionist was extremely rude, unprofessional and made it very clear that she wouldn’t help us and couldn’t place us in another bedroom because it was fully booked. She wasn’t willing to give the manager’s contact either since it was on the weekend and they would be unavailable. When I mentioned that they could have told me in advance, she simply said that she’s not the only worker there and she’s not responsible for what the others do in their shifts. Completely indifferent to the situation. Of course that a prepayment is required when you make the reservation, but besides that, a security deposit of 100 pounds is also requested once you arrive, even if there is no information about it in the website. The only solution found for us was to replace us to another hotel from the same chain, because refunding us was not allowed either. So we were obligated to sleep in a hotel we didn’t choose and still the receptionist never, at any point, apologized for the inconvenient. Surely don’t recommend this hotel.

Having stayed for 6 days my first room was near the road and very noisy. Could not sleep. Springs were poking through the mattress, road noise kept me up and the tele did not work! I changed rooms, no tele in the room, at all, quieter though. Was asked for a deposit of £50, gave the receptionist my card. They said it would take 14 days to receive my deposit back. Having phoned them today, they now say they did not charge me the £50 and this is 25 days later! They may be right that they did not take the deposit, however, the receptionist told me about the 14d wait. So not great service, not a great room, won't be staying there again.
