The Fernwood Cabin is a 1958 mountain retreat at the bottom of Fern Valley in Idyllwild, CA. Tucked in among towering cedars and surrounded with seasonal ferns - you'll be returning to nature. Walk to town in 15 minutes. Amenities include Level 2 EV charging.
Security cameras on property for safety at parking area and back fence.
Please note: there is no TV, but there is high speed internet to stream from your devices. Great cabin

Beautiful home, beautiful location
My family of four enjoyed a beautiful weekend get away here. The owners were responsive and the home had all the amenities we needed. Will stay again!

Best weekend getaway!
We had a fantastic weekend getaway at this cabin! The host was excellent—super communicative and helpful. The cabin itself was awesome, cozy, and conveniently close to the center of town. We loved our stay and would definitely go back!

Great Stay at Fernwood
We love this modern cabin in Idyllwild. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We even had snow on our last night. So neat!

Our stay at Fernwood
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Fernwood. The cabin was perfect. Cozy, clean and modernized. Wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely plan a return trip in the future.

Wonderful place
It was exactly what we were looking for, beautifully remodeled place, very quiet, very comfy beds, location is ideal. Lots of birds ! Steller's Jays, Pine Siskins, Acorn Woodpeckers and more.

Fantastic experience
Lovely property within a mile of downtown, but just far enough away to be private and quiet. Thoughtful details throughout the cozy, clean environment. Loved the wood fireplace (with plenty of firewood provided), record player (with great selection of albums), and outdoor fire pit. Host communicated promptly and helpfully throughout our weekend stay, and gave advance warning of inclement weather approaching to ensure we were prepared. 10/10 will stay there again.
