The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I don’t know where to start, filthy, pictures are fake, we ate out as the food, cereal was full of ants, food not labelled, most staff except the odd one rude and unfriendly, laughing at my son, rooms disgusting, towels not changed, we even looked for another hotel but everything was full. Honestly they would have to pay me to stay there! Absolutely disgusting.. there’s lots of other beautiful places to stay.. don’t waste your money

As in the comments, the hotel is incredibly very good, the rooms, the food, the staff, the drinks, the pool, November, everything is really nice, I didn't have any regret, we never wanted to come while reading the hotel reviews, but as we came, it was met with something really nice. amazing food fresh every morning till night friendly staff entertainment most nights clean rooms cleaned x3 a week with new towels most days very good hygiene second time staying at this hotel and never had a bad experience, great to bring your family

Having a amzing time in Club Selen. Hotel overall is very clean and tidy, beds are very comfortable. Lovely showers. Hotel pool is amazing lovely temperature. And again very clean. All staff amazing and management will go above and beyond for you.

We came with our 4 year old child, we arrived early morning and lift was broken but the reception man carried our bags to the room, all staff very friendly and kind, we still have 2 days left here and we have been made very welcome, great location, we stayed bed and breakfast, its a Turkish breakfast very nice tea and coffee, staff have been great with our foster child and played games with his cars. we will definitely be back again this year. thank you club selen. also drinks at bar very good price, pool has a water slide and great kids play area. love it

Do not use this hotel it’s not for the British. Food left uncovered unlabelled and flies crawling through the food. I’ve had food poisoning for most of my holiday and for another 2 weeks after I returned, and loss of earnings for 2 weeks after returning. The staff very rude, hotel and food awful we were all inclusive and only ate once at the hotel. Our room was above the kitchen/ junk yard and I can supply videos and photos to prove this. Use at your own peril as it’s as bad as faulty towers and not to mention the extra guests we had in the room ants nest. I have put a major claim in as I had to also move hotels at my own cost the rep was useless along with the manager!!!!!!!

Great staff, clean room , great location and good size pool and slide Negatives food. Dont expect to eat in breakfast lunch and dinner. Only caters for the rude Russians but edible for brekfast and lunch . Eggs toast, dinner pasta salads, chips

Just back from an amazing holiday.Not going to lie I had read the reviews and was slightly worried but, Super clean hotel ,all staff are fantastically friendly,had a great time, always found something to eat. Can't wait to go back next year, it's a hidden little gem . Highly recommend super value for money.

Where to start with this hotel.. This could be a long one. At first glance everything appeared okay. When we arrived the receptionist on in the early hours was lovely and very welcoming. Helped us with our cases etc. The rooms are VERY small. It was blatantly obvious that my room was designed to be a double and they'd squeezed an extra bed in to make it fit 3 people, which made the room extremely cramped and left it with basically no room for anything. We didn't moan about it though made the best of what we had and got on with it. The next day we saw the food for the first time.. Breakfast was.. Interesting.. A man stood cooking eggs and then some questionable fruit out in the open. In the dishes there was a concoction that I'm guessing may of been porridge but I'm honestly not sure. It looked disgusting. Beans that looked like they'd been reheated 3 or 4 times. A loaf of bread by a toaster and some cut up baguette that was hit or miss whether or not it'd be rock hard and then when it was edible you could go 3/4 days with no butter at the hotel and there's no point asking the staff for any as they won't understand what you're saying. Lunch was pretty much the same everyday always some plain pasta. Dishes that always never looked particularly appetising. Normally reheated food. The salad sits out in the sun all day with flies flying on and off of it. All the deserts are wet and soggy. And dinner is just a repeat of lunch. Snack is normally cold hard chicken nuggets/pieces with cold chips. If you're lucky and it's burger day then they are alright and actually tasted nice. The baby pool is a puddle tucked away round the corner that has about an inch of water! I don't think I encountered one staff member apart from the manager and a little from the receptionist that could speak any English. Even a tiny bit of basic stuff. None of them had a clue. Asking for anything was like asking for a miracle. My sister asked for a lemonade at the bar and was given an Efes. The housekeeping is not up to scratch at all! I think our towels were changed once the whole time we were there and that's only because I demanded they were changed. They insisted they had been and I told them I knew they hadn't as they had make up marks on from the previous day. Even then they still tried saying they were new and didn't want to change them! The beds were never changed either. The only thing they seemed to do was a quick mop around the bathroom floor and a new foot towel for the floor and make the bed quickly - and twice they took my daughters blanket whilst making the bed and refused to give us another one when asked so I had to give her my bedsheet to use! There was a mix up with our booking and one of our rooms was down for checkout a day early by mistake and when we tried to rectify this the manager was EXTREMELY rude. He didn't try to help us and told us we either pay another £120 or get out with 2 small children. I called our rep from love holidays who was also shockingly

Recently returned from 7 nights at Club Selen … utterly disappointed travelling with two children with medical conditions. My son is type 1 diabetic and consistently received soft drinks that they claimed were diet or zero sugar but weren’t resulting in us having to manage irregular sugar levels despite us repeatedly requesting zero sugar or diet drinks he had to resort to water only. Additionally one of our party has a nut allergy upon arriving at the hotel we advised the staff and when faced with the unlabelled food offering I requested whether it was possible for plain pasta or chips for that day and then asked if it was possible to know what the food was and if it contained nuts moving forward .. this was simply answered with a NO the food served is standard and is as it comes .. this caused us to have to eat seperately with us eating at the hotel (as we had paid for all inclusive) and us taking her to local restaurants and paying for meals where we were able to establish what the food was and whether it contained nuts. Despite us doing this during an evening at the entertainment bar staff were eating nuts and serving drinks .. resulting in her suffering a contact reaction and us rushing her for medical attention late at night .. IV medication was needed causing huge distress. Beyond disappointed and extremely frustrated with lack of care for customers health and the attitude of we have your money now that was evident. Would not recommend and certainly won’t be returning.

All was good. Rooms are clean and foods are delicious. Entertainment and all staff was good and smile. everynight kids disco and cheerful. Pool side always clean and Enough sunbeds. Drinks are good quailty. İ higly recommend. Beach is very close

Just came back from a 2 week holiday stopping at selen. First impressions were good. Room was clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. Unfortunately the food wasn't for us. Ate out most nights due to there not being much choice for young children. Snack times were hit and miss with some of the snacks just being cold plates of chips and salad. Puddings were the same every night, not much variety or change. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our transfer was at 2am and rufat I believe his name is put the coffee machine back on for us so we could have a hot drink before we went. Hotel is a great location close to shops bars restaurants and a 5/10 minute walk to the beach. We stopped in the family room which wasn't cleaned daily the only thing we received was a new bath Matt every couple of days. I had to find myself a broom to sweep up myself due to it not being cleaned regularly during our 2 weeks. Personally I wouldn't stop here again myself but overall an ok hotel.

Very nice hotel, great hotel, we liked it very much, the food is good, the rooms are clean, the pool is clean, we had a great time, we are thinking of coming again, thank you very much to everyone, we had a lot of fun, see you again soon. Tanks sercan

Stayed 2 weeks as a package holiday. Had 0 expectations for the price we paid + some of the reviews were promising nothing good. Well let me be fair. The area is a quiet one: no loud venues around and it's 700m from a nice small sand public beach or 1300m from a quite pebble beach. The rooms are recently refreshed, all sanitary are in good condition, our shower had a short glass curtain and we had to be extremely attentive or wipe the floor afterwards. Our room had a new and quiet conditioner perfectly efficient. The matrasses were in a surprisingly good state. Rooms are cleaned every day insistently, you have to ask for towel/linen change or toilet paper though. First thing is meals, drinks and pool timetable that you best photo as remembering can be complicated. We were ready to eat out but we could do without it and the 2 weeks menu was not boring. First thing: 0 digestive problems in 14 days. The menu is very much local vegies: fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, parsley, roka and mint every meal; baked zucchini, eggplant or such; beans or chickpeas; rice, barley or other cereal side, sometimes potato fries or wedges; some pasta with a sauce apart; chicken or turkey or some beaf stew (once), possible some nuggets or small mackerel type fish and some times national thing or chicken kebap. Always 2-3 types of olives (dried or marinated), pickles and hot peppers. Deserts were some simple cakes and puddings + watermelon. Bar served beer, vodka/gin + softdriks strickly 10-22 and would sometimes have some raki, which incredible for the price. Still cold filtered water, flavored drinks, hot tea and coffee machine was available almost at all times, I think they switched off the teapots after 22 of so. All the times the hotel was nearly complete but the staff managed to give proper service anyway: public areas were _washed_ regularly and general order was well above average for the load. Great respects to the management for the fantastic job. You have to bear in mind it is a budget friendly hotel which is trying to give you more at every aspect of your stay and Turkey is not a country it used to be 5 years ago anymore in terms of value: everything got 2-3 times more expensive.
