I stayed in this so called hotel for Christmas and the new year, wish I stayed at home. The front desk are unprofessional and rude not what you expect from a four star hotel this is why it’s not. The main restaurant is dirty as you will see in my pictures, the table are cleaned by brushing off by hand no clean dinner mats for exchanging guess the seating are disgustingly dirty ,the floor around the coffee machine are always wet, were people drop some of there drinks and not clean up, a accident waiting to happen the food is okay but the same food each day the staff are friendly, now outside, the pool is in the shade all day not much fun, around the beach bar along the path by perfume shop is absolutely disgusting with litter. I picked up many times as staff just walked past the toilets by the beach bar are disgusting. There are no paper towel towels and they are only cleaned at the end of each day that’s once a day for all those people The Beach bar staff are fantastic. The towel boys are helpful if you tip them. But they expect it each day the beach is clean abut the only thing about this hotel.that is clean there is no Wi-Fi in reception. You have to go next door to the sister hotel which the wifi is good the entertainment team are great specially the after parties it’s a must go save the holiday. All entertainment is done in the sister hotel enter at your own risk. That’s only a free star. You can imagine the state of that one. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Everyone was coming down with a flu bug. The lifts were never clean and there’s no hand sanitiser even though they’ve got empty bottles hanging up everywhere the main bar is more like a kitchen worktop you cannot see wondering insight they do rinse the cups and glasses with their tapwater. Be warned. Would I stay in this hotel again, not even if they offered it for free

We booked 10 nights in this place and stayed for only one. We would have left immediately, but it was too late at night. The WiFi provided by the hotel was extremely poor, making our escape planning difficult. I spoke to the hotel manager himself, and he asked if there was any single problem he could resolve. I told him that everything about the hotel was unacceptable and that we would not stay as the issues were unresolvable in the moment. The management asked me to sign a waiver (printed and shoved in front of me), stating that the hotel was not at fault as a reason for us leaving. They initially made this a precondition of us checking out, but backed down when I told them that I wouldn’t sign it and would deal with my booking agent instead. Whilst this was happening, a constant stream of guests were coming to the front desk to make complaints about the same conditions that were causing us to leave. To wit: The hotel was generally filthy - poor hygiene, all seating and sun beds were stained, even in the dining room, with feral cats everywhere and birds constantly defecating on the already faeces-stained outside dining furniture. No attempts were being made by staff to resolve these issues, with guests throwing things at the birds to shoo them away. Rubbish was blowing freely around the patio areas. Inside, the whole place was tired, poorly decorated and maintained - it had the feeling of a run-down prison block and the atmosphere of an open prison: The door to our room looked like it had previously been the subject of a ***** raid, showing signs of having been kicked in. The sink in our bathroom was cracked (and therefore unhygienic), and the bathroom itself was generally dirty. Staff walked into our room while were inside and without adequate warning - they had come to fix the tv, which wasn’t broken. In our corridor was an upturned, stained bed, that remained there for the duration of our stay. The drinks served at the all-inclusive bar were foul. No bottled water was available without extra payment to the room service staff. Bar staff were surly when questioned about their service provision. Dining: The food was disgusting, served from damaged cookware, with the majority of “hot” dishes being tepid at best. The tables were unclean in the dining areas and the cutlery and plates were poorly washed and chipped. In short, this hotel is grossly misrepresented by its description, as we would never booked such an awful place if it had been advertised and described truthfully.

This is a fantastic place have been twice and the people are really polite and friendly and have made some friends for life here. Also was all inclusive a was all amazing so would recommend it to others .sunsets in the evening are so beautiful .

A Nightmare, Not a Hotel! Stay Away!!! This place is a total disaster. Let’s start with the reception—rude and arrogant staff who treat guests like walking ATMs. If you don’t pay extra, they won’t lift a finger. Everyone is just trying to squeeze money out of you, as if that’s their main goal. The rooms? An absolute nightmare! Dirt, mold, and mildew everywhere. Housekeeping? They “clean” with a disgusting, smelly old rag. The bedding wasn’t even changed after the previous guests—it looked made, but it smelled awful and was clearly used. And the worst part? After a few nights, my whole body was covered in bites! Bed bugs? Some other nasty creatures? I have no idea, but it’s completely unacceptable. The food is a joke. Drinks are cheap imitations, full of sugar and completely tasteless. No matter what you choose, everything is just awful. Internet? The free WiFi only works in the lobby, and if you pay €10 for “better” access, you can only use it on ONE device! You’re better off buying an Orange SIM card from the guy in the hotel shop—$8 for 25GB, which works all over the city. The pool? Ice cold, in the shade all day, with old, broken loungers and towels that seem never to have been washed. And to top it off, they play the same song on repeat for hours! The location? HORRIBLE. There’s absolutely nothing around. Wherever you go, you’re immediately harassed by aggressive beggars, even children, asking for money. You can’t walk a few steps without being pressured. The spa? A scam! If you buy three massages, they offer you a discount. The first two were okay, but when they knew it was my last one, they gave me a girl who did more harm than good. It was painful and completely unprofessional. I strongly do NOT recommend it. This hotel is a health hazard—you could easily catch something here. This hotel is a total scam. The reviews online must be written by fake accounts or blind people. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR SANITY! Run while you still can!!!

So on arrival I was given room at 1am in morning with broken balcony door facing a wall..changed it...restaurant always dirty, tables never wiped clean, staff always asking for money at slightest thing they do for you. Another room change as they put me above music hotel next door. Then another room change because they then put me on road with lots noise and dogs barking at 2am...then another room change, finally with 2 nights left I got some sleep. Food absolutely disgusting, along with other we all had 24 hour bug with sickness and diarrhoea. As a solo traveller I just wanted to be left alone during Christmas period but everyday on beach just constant sales telling you about massages, hair,fish..drove me mad, all staff have a,sad story so you give them money from broken marriages to poorly kids, I had 2 hammer massage sessions and to be fair they were lovely but never pay full price...then I had my hair done few times with colour and would say again, it was a mess the first time but then had to have highlights in end to rectify it ( at my cost) . One way to beach at bottom off hotel i went as usual to get towel to go lay quietly on beach and the horrible little man gave me my towel and I said thank you, he proceeded to tell me he put on lounger, " No I'm fine thank you" then saying "why am I so angry" lol because I just wanted to be alone and have time out, then said something in his language. Towels are dirty and thread bare and they definitely need new towels and loungers. I cut my toe and was bleeding quite bad, one said he was Dr he be back...he came back with plaster, no antibacterial cream or water to clean it.. Jewellery shop in hotel is a complete rip off..rude disgusting man who ended up telling a lady I met there he hated me all because I wasn't paying £ 50 pound for ring i wanted..he finally took £10 after lots arguing and trying to get out shop in the end had row with him and took ring for tenner. Cats in restaurant feeding on tables Would never return to this hotel again

On arriving Royal beach hotel reception - Handing in my booking Voucher with MagicRooms states Seaview - on going to room we found view over noisy main road, bringing this issue to reception was told with being New Year’s Eve 10pm time - come back at 10am in morning and be sorted - 10am was told by 2 working reception yes seaview will get at 2pm as rooms getting cleaned, (Great News Not) on showing up with my voucher at 2pm the hotel manger tells me that they have me standard room - my voucher ment nothing and said we have no seaview available, we this we had a disagreement and woe behold manger said if you want seaview you pay £90 for 9 days staying - Wow - the next day spoke to local rep at 6pm this my 2nd day , hearing my rant and seeing my seaview voucher ask me see him 11am next day my 3rd day, was told then after he spoke to manager that I can have sea view but be 3rd January my 4th day as room full, ( at 2pm my 4th day spoke to reception saying I’m been giving seaview - but yes they say but got to pay £10 night total of £60 - paid because my partner had been very upset since arriving, told local rep - he was shocked about paying £60 said he get it back - my 8th day nothing, (Disgusting) On hotel it’s self been here 6 times on and off this my 7th completely change the reception use to be happy and happy to help, breakfast lunch and dinner - coffee machine was only offering paper cups when run out of normal cups, lunch open 12.pm 3pm- enter at 2.30pm staff clearing all food away leaving nothing, As said this hotel would get 4/5 star but don’t know the problem - gas it been taken over seems so - or just hired rude staff.
