Rude, non-professional guards. It's nearly impossible to sit near the swimming pool at night - you will be attacked by them with tons of questions. Feeling like you are a suspected person during the interrogation process. Being informed about the local rules, spent two nights feeding mosquitoes near the swimming pool to speak with a girl who has a RUSSIAN passport. Guards were almost standing on my head those nights. Then it appeared, according to their gossip, that the girl was almost climbing onto my balcony. I would be happy, if so, but... "We have cameras", etc. After we asked to show the record - no answer at all. Just accusing, without any reason. Furthermore, one of those guards tried to text her for some time afterward, despite her being engaged. Plus, there was a hotel right in front of my window. Now its reconstruction is in progress. So, a horde of ppl with hammers was destroying that hotel for two weeks from 8 a.m. till 10-11 a.m. every day. Now I have a mini-desert in my apartment.

We have stayed 3 nights recently in room 109. In general is a fine hotel for the price you pay. The staff are very kind especially Mr. Wajeeh. Who by the way speaks a good English comparing to an average Egyptian.  Ms Evelyn was nice but needs to know the area better in order to explain the directions better to the guests. There were many things in the area that they were not aware of it. I was dying to locate a fresh juices places.. turn out it was nearby but they said it is not available in the hotel area and have to take a car for 20 minutes to go to old Hurghada city center. The beds are simple and oke. TV has only religious channels. No kids channels working. Alot of bugs unfortunately inside the room. Alot of flies outside.  Unfortunately there is no wifi in the room . You have to go to the reception area to be able to connect to their wifi .the bathroom design is very poor. The shower is open and the water splashes everywhere which could be a very serious safety issue as you might slip after shower. The sink was blocked. The toilet sink was keep leaking water all the time(wasting water). The ventilator fan in the shower makes a horrible noise when running. The hotel lacks a small cafeteria or common kitchen. The pool water was dirty. They keep adding some chemicals at night to make it clear and safe. But it is really dirty. Looks like the water is not being filtered ir changed at all.  The neighbor tenants kids were really loud all the time and annoying. They were spraying dirty water on us from their balcony on higher floor as kind of teasing and playing.  The housekeeper lady has a young kid(babygirl) who were roaming all the time around the pool without any life jacket or floaties. That is very terrifying to see. The hotel management should take care of the staff en their family members. That kid could simply drown if fallen to the pool en noone is there to save her.  Overall it is maybe not really suitable for families with kids but maybe a good option for solo travelers.
