Siva Grand Beach

The rooms are disgusting & outdated. Locks on doors are loose. Bedding old & full of bits. Tiles on the ceiling falling down. Toilet brush - absolutely disgusting.Stained shower curtain. The list goes on…… We complain & changed rooms but to be honest it was only slightly better than the 1st. If you want a lovely room do NOT book this hotel. I would NOT recommend !!!

Being a repeat guest, every time I go there are improvements. The negatives are the rooms, they are badly dated, however bed is comfortable and it has a shower, albeit the shower/bathroom is very old, it all works. I had a wheelchair user in the group and despite I was advised by guest relations the renovated rooms are the disabled rooms with walk in showers, we were not offered one, unless we paid a supplement, of which I felt very unfair, also none available immediately. We booked 2 rooms for our party, and did request them being close by, unfortunately they couldn't accommodate that, which did mar the holiday a little as the other room was a single female occupant, and was placed other end of the complex!! The pool area was kept clean and tidy, and the service was very good, however the quality of the drinks was awful, and really not drinkable, so water it was!! The new addition of Starbucks on the beach was excellent, although every time you bought a drink the price differed! Food in restaurant was plentiful, presented beautifully and loads of choice, couldn't fault it at all. Entertainment and activities were plentiful, always something going on around the pool, saxophonist in tje afternoon, singers, fruit market etc, something different daily. Late check out was a bonus. Location is perfect for shops and some nice little restaurants directly outside if you fancy something different. Beach is beautiful and very safe. The prices this year have increased considerably, and I think all rooms needed to have been updated before this happened, sadly not the case. Staff in the restaurant are hit and miss, if you can get their attention for a drink you are lucky, and if you get what you ordered even better, but that didn't happen very often! Appreciate they have lots of drinks to remember though,but just trying to explain what a rose and lemonade or shandy is makes it hard work,especially when they get it totally wrong 😆 Would I return ? Definately if a good price on offer, but not at the current ridiculous prices for the standard of rooms on offer
