Amazing!! Just returned from our 1st trip here & wow we were not disappointed & we will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for being so welcoming & friendly, hotel is immaculate & our room was huge & beautiful. Food was outstanding.

Booked this last minute and wow did we drop lucky this small amazingly friendly hotel is truly a little gem the staff too many to mention all go above and beyond to make your stay feel like your in paradise the little touches like yaiya cleaning your sun glasses every morning by the pool and the fruit kebabs brought round by the chef and the wonderful waiters keeping you replenished with drinks the food was all so good loved the menu at the pool restaurant so much choice and all freshly cooked. We had a lovely room on the top floor (6617) which had amazing views and was kept spotless by our wonderful cleaner Mahmoud who did amazing towel art and always greeted us with a smile, we were very impressed by all the staff the manager always checking everything was ok with you so you had the best stay he even knew your room number, the main restaurant food was also delicious my hubby loved his eggs Benedict for breakfast and I loved the Egyptian pudding the chef told me the recipe so I can make this at home (hope it turns out ok) hope to see you all again soon

Quite possibly the best hotel we've ever stayed at and we just couldn't fault this place in any way. Everything from the food, comfortable rooms, amazing restaurant, pool bar and especially the staff who make your holiday so perfect. In fact we were so impressed with it, we've booked to go back next month.

Our first adults only holiday and not let down. Went in May and will be returning in January and March 2025. Our room was spacious and a view over the golf course. The room was kept spotless by our housekeeper. Breakfast had so many choices and we sat outside every morning. Abdullah made sure our coffee cups were always full. Lunch was down by the pool and plenty to choose from, they will modify any dish to suit your requirements. Evening meals was buffet style but also has a la carte choices and always something cooking outside on the bbq. Mahmood who ran the restaurants ensured the service was top notch. The pool area was clean and plenty of sunbeds and shade if needed. The two pool boys made sure everything was kept clean and tidy, they also offered to clean your sunglasses every morning if they were dirty. This was a great time to have a talk with them. Whalid who brought the drinks to you around the the pool worked exceptionally hard, always with a smile and plenty of humour. Adel in the main bar looked after us well. Sameh who worked in the restaurants and bar would send me back to sit down so that our drinks could be brought to us. Well what can I say ....an absolutely fantastic holiday again to the Steigenberger Makadi. This hotel is by far the best we have been to in Hurghada....it's that good we have booked again for March 2025. You will not be disappointed from the quality of the food to the tentativeness of the staff, nothing is a problem if you only ask. The welcome we received as returning guests ( we had only been once before and the staff remembered our names) was incredible , from the front desk to the waiters, cleaners, pool staff and many more. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday then this is it. They also have a 9 and 18 hole golf course if that's your thing...I cannot pick out one person to say that they made our holiday the best because from the jolly gardeners right through to the top man himself they all helped in doing this . The Hotel is fantastic and all the staff go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, from the reception team through housekeeping to the gardeners and pool guys ... all brilliant and go the extra mile. The Hotel and gardens are kept to a high standard - everything is spotless and cleaning is constantly being carried out. The food is great - there is always something for everyone - even the most fussy eaters. Hints and Tips. Book a private transfer via the hotel (25 Euros) rather than TUI. Book trips via Viator on Trip Advisor. Snorkelling trip was £15 pp rather than £50 pp with rep! Extended checkout for 55 Euros until 18:00 is well worth t for an extra day in the sun!!
