Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Huntsville

Id say ive stayed in worse, but... To start, finding the hotel, check in, and the front desk people; lovely people. Wonderful people. Check in was relatively easy EXCEPT You get charged an extra $100 hold fee on top of the price for the hotel- and this is NOT warned of ahead of time. Secondly: "free breakfast and a pool" was advertised. The free breakfast is- you fill out a note, bring it to the desk, and in the morning you get a paper bag of a granola bar and a muffin. Thats it. No creamer for the coffee. The coffee pot in the room was also dirty. There was also no pool. The bathroom fan was SO LOUD it would wake anyone who is sleeping in the room. And lastly... no hot water in the shower. It took over 45 minutes of the water running for it to get to a tolerable temperature. Then suddenly, turns absolutely scalding. I took a cold shower, and my wife got burned. The wifi also didnt work. Over all: not worth the price. You get a bed, i guess.

A total disappointment It was sub par, it was a place to rest for the night but I dislike description on sites to book the hotel and when you get there it's not true. No usable pool and the building looked like it was falling apart. Supposedly offers breakfast and in actuality it offers you crap.... Or what I love to call a breakfast of champions.... Two tangerines, a granola bar and a muffin that is basically kid size.... The drink options where soul burning coffee and or orange/apple juice. A total disappointment and will not book there again unless I'm desperate.

A bit rough I had requested a wheelchair-accessible room, and was never told anything to the contrary, but when arriving there apparently was not one available. I am in a wheelchair and had some large, heavy bags that I needed help with. The desk person was rude and dismissive about my request for assistance; consequently, I had to haul, inch by inch, my bags, while he stood in the parking lot 10 feet away, chatting with someone. He finally "came around" and became more friendly and helpful, but it was not a kind beginning, especially after a long difficult day of travel. He himself was also parked in the one handicapped parking spot, though he's not disabled. He did eventually move his car and let me park there, but still. The hotel is a bit shabby and there are some kind of shady-seeming clientele (shirtless in the hallway, smoking and "hanging out" at the entrance). It all ended up being okay...but not great.

Fridge didn’t work, smelled like smoke all on 2nd floor , I had non smoking room and it smelled like smoke in it, tv box had burnt melted plastic from cigarette burning out on top of it I assume. Remote didn’t work and had to use buttons on the tv itself. Staff did not refund me when I left early and spoke to them and had stay insurance and still haven’t gotten my deposit refunded when I stayed one night and left the room in same condition as I got it. Never got breakfast when I specifically filled out the paper and signed up for it. I wish I had anything good to say but I just don’t..never again. I’ve stayed at many days inn for good pricing and convenience all over the east coast and this was the worst one

Not a Happy Camper! I think there’s some remodeling needs to be done to bring hotel up to par. The only thing that was enjoyable was the bed slept well. But from there, it was downhill. The front door was broken. The carpet was very old, dirty and worn. When I spoke to the person at the desk about making reservations, he pointed me too the website and said I would get a better deal. I should have went to see for myself the condition of the hotel.

Originally booked 3 nights here. Keith did an excellent job checking me in Thursday 11/7, even got me a room early. He showed me room 120. I got my key but didnt go to my room until much later that evening. Ate and got in the clean bed. The morning comes and as I am preparing to take a shower, I check to see if the blow dryer on the wall works, and a very large roach crawls out. Thankfully I didnt unpack! Upon immediate check out on 11/8, Jessica was very sweet and understanding, when I said I need to check out early and showed her the picture. Although she wasn't able to waive my 1 night charge she assured me that I would only be charged 1 night and that her manager Mike would contact me at the number I left. It is Sunday and I am still waiting to hear from Mike the manager.. Stay at your own risk!!!
