Will not use this hotel again. Looked to be minimal cosmetic updates. There was no hot water for two days. Was not advised of the issue upon checkin because I would have stayed elsewhere. Hotel is too large for them to maintain.

Have been to this property for YEARS for conventions, but never stayed until last night. Rooms are very spacious with all the comforts of home, desk, chairs, refrigerator, nice views of the courtyard. Only thing did not like was handicap shower in #1069, no curtain, shower head was terrible & cold in majority of the hallways. Across from shopping & restaurants. Right off I-83 I'm hoping they will not tear it down as that's what I've heard.

We attended a wedding here. The grounds are lovely and our room was clean. The lower level rooms for the event were FREEZING and the decor tired. We heard things we didn’t want to in the room next door at 2:30 in the morning.

This facility needs a complete make over. The rooms are very small and minimally clean. The sheets are so old they barely stayed on the bed and the towels felt like sandpaper. Visible peeling paint and holes in the hallway ceilings. Though I was paying with a gift card and the staff at the desk were aware, no one bothered to figure out the process before I checked out even though it was quiet and they had plenty of time. Due to this they over charged my credit card with 2 transactions over $600 and used the gift card. I still have not seen the money sent back to my card and the manager still has not returned my call to discuss this even though I left a message. Completely unacceptable. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and the location was good for what we needed.

Love this property & the “equestrian flair”. Rooms are A++ and grounds are spectacular— not your cookie cutter property. So much character. If you’re visiting hunt valley this is where you want to stay. Great outdoor pool is bonus. I thought about Hilton card but I’d miss staying at HV delta! (Currently stay quite often as living in another city and return often on week ends). Suggestion: Marriott has a gem as community loves this hotel and could do better to promote …given the size & charm!

Delta Hotels by Marriott Baltimore Hunt Valley is conveniently located on Shawan Road near Interstate 83 (Baltimore-Harrisburg Expressway). On-site restaurant, bar available but did not utilize during my visit. Several dining establishments were near the hotel but not within walking distance. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable. Hallway floors and corridors had scuff marks and worn carpeting at the time of my stay. Escalator leading to the on-site meeting rooms and ballrooms was intermittently functional; elevators were notably slow despite minimal guest traffic. Several of the hotel ballroom lights flickered during the on-site meetings I attended; this was distracting to both the presenter as well as attendees. On-site indoor/outdoor swimming pool was available but not utilize during my visit. It was noted that the jacuzzi/hot tub was nonfunctional. Guest room featured crumbs, discarded plastic water bottle, and a single blueberry beneath one of the queen beds. Guest room sliding glass door leaked rainwater which I collected into a plastic cup during my stay to minimize damage to the already moist carpeting. Guest room lights flickered several times during thunderstorms. The guest bathroom tub was quick to fill as the drain was notably slow. Guest room bathroom fixtures were functional, but worn. Overall, the guest room was comfortable but furnishings were worn and dated. Fitness center located in the center of the complex was clean and had basic yet modern equipment. Ample parking available. Hotel grounds were well maintained. Traffic noise from busy Shawan Road and exit ramps from Interstate 83 was prevalent on sides proximal to the respective roads. Overall okay experience however, until renovations and improvements occurred, I would consider another nearby hotel when visiting the Hunt Valley area in the future.

This hotel ended up being the perfect lodging for our May 2023 wedding. The accommodations were elegant, comfortable, and located close to a shopping center full of anything our guests might need in a pinch. We reserved a block of rooms for our guests and also booked one of their parlor suites where the bridal party got ready and my husband and I crashed after our wedding reception. Service on the wedding weekend was above and beyond — seriously: I locked myself out of the bridal suite at one point and needed technicians to get me back in. The front desk personnel were ANGELS about it. Everyone from the front desk to breakfast buffet staff were wonderful. The customer service in coordinating everything at the start could use improvement — they weren't always responsive/helpful, and I felt like I had to frequently follow up to get answers to my questions.

Requested early check in, we even stopped by hotel and the front desk assured us they would text me when the room was ready. Nope. We had to stop by again and they said they were too busy to send us a message. : (
