Good hotel in Hulumalé. The beach is just meters away from the door

Very nice hotel located along the beach. Breakfast is simple but nice. Hotel smell nice too! I’ll stay again when I visit.

It's a good spot if you want to stay in the city for a night before travelling to your resort - views from the restaurant were perfect too! The only thing was that the toilet smelled quite bad - probably due to the pipes.

Transitional stay at Malé before we go to the island. Staff all very friendly . Lobby is very cosy, love the music and lemongrass scent in the lobby waiting area. Restaurant located in level 7 rooftop, very beautiful view , cosy environment. Breakfast has sufficient choices, more western style, food tastes not bad . Location very near to beach , convince stores , Central Park . Only thing is the room is smaller than imaging, may be similar in Malé , not sure . But bed is comfortable . Also they provide free transfer to airport , very convenient. So overall satisfied with the stay.

Room is a bit small, but that’s typical of hotels in male. It was clean and modern staff were excellent The restaurant was clean and modern and the food was good. It was only a 10 minute car trip from the airport and we will definitely stay there again when we come to the Maldives again next year.

Great hotel, quite and good for a solo traveller.

Super hotel to relax before or after a trip. Very accessible from airport and beautiful sea view and beach views. Clean neighborhoods, much better that older part of town that is overcrowded. 100 on service !

Clean and close to airport , but do choose the balcony room if you are staying for more than 1 day, only 2 rooms of each floor have the balcony and sea view. If you stay here for one night transit , then standard room makes no difference. The beach in front the hostel is better than Male's.

From The moment we walked through the doors we were treated wonderfully! The lobby was cool and smelled lovely, and we were immediately given cold towels and freshly squeezed pineapple juice. The staff on reception, Mohan and Arjun were extremely polite, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very modern and very clean, the aircon had the room at the right temperature within minutes, and the bed was very comfortable. Whenever we went down to reception the staff were very polite and always helpful, giving us towels for the beach, and sorting our airport transfer. We also ate dinner in the restaurant, which was delicious, very reasonable and had a fantastic choice, and again, the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was equally as good, with lots of choice and freshly made eggs of any sort available on request, we can highly recommend the omelette! They even provided us with a lovely packed breakfast when we were leaving as we had to check out before breakfast started. I really can’t fault this hotel, and would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone.

The Ocean Grand is a great place to stay for the price. My wife and I stayed for one night. The staff is incredible. They went out of their way to ensure my wife and I had a comfortable stay. They gave us an early check in and a late check out to better accommodate our travel schedule. Whatever we needed they were available within seconds to assist us. The hotel is right across the street from the beach. The beach is a bit rocky, but there is a section that’s good for swimming. You can also rent water sports equipment at the beach, though it’s not a part of the hotel’s accommodations. The breakfast buffet is very nice. They had a wide variety of local, western, and Asian foods to choose from. The fruit was fresh, and the dining room was clean. Hulumale is fairly busy compared to the surrounding islands. You can walk around and get a glimpse at how local Maldivian people live. This hotel is a great value with excellent service. If I ever go back to the Maldives, I will definitely stay at the Hotel Ocean Grand again!

Very clean and super friendly/helpful staff. Ideal hotel for a one night stop off before heading the atoll resorts. The area in Hulhumale is still being built so it’s not very picturesque at all to be honest.

Good location near Male international airport. Kindly staff.
