Room is cozy with everything you need. Better to stay overnight in mountain if affordable. Two days one night is a better itinerary for the tough walking trails. The room price is 3-4 times higher than the foot of the mountain. Good breakfast with reasonable spread of food. Near the sunrise spot. We started from Yungu cableway at 7am on day one, travel around the area and checked in the hotel. We woke up for the sunrise at 4:30 am. After breakfast and shower, we started our day two… quite tough for people not used to walk for a day ＞10 km with thousands of stairways…. 😅 we went down Yuping cableway around 4pm. We cover all the HungShan highlighted spots and very happy due to low peak travel season in China, less crowds. 😎

Very nice hotel and helpful people. They help us with everything we want, room was clear and breakfast very good. If you wnat to see sunrise or dawn you should book this hotel 🤩 Thanks for everything !

What We Liked Service staff were very warm and friendly, and there's a WeChat where they update on sunrise timings at the nearby Danxia Peak. The path to Danxia peak was well lit even at 4am, and the room comes with thick jackets and a torch light for you to bring along. The staff made all the difference in our stay as they genuinely wanted to ensure our stay was enjoyable. As it is the closest hotel to Danxia peak, it is very convenient to get to within 20mins for both sunrise and sunset. However if you are looking to catch the sea of clouds, it is much further away. What We Disliked The room layout is quite odd, and our "window" faces the corridor and into the next unit. This meant that sound is very audible even with the window closed. But if the window is closed, there's no ventilation and makes the room uncomfortably warm. I guess it's not an issue on colder nights. If you manage your expectations that this is a hotel on the mountaintop, where heavy goods are hand carried by workers it is ok.

Excellent location The rooms are pretty small and not sound proofed. Don’t expect to sleep a lot if you have noisy neighbors.

Great place! Highly recommend. Match better that could be expected from the hotel in the middle of the mountains.

Beautiful hotel, clean, perfect position, near Danxia peak (about 15 min upstairs) to see both sunset and sunrise. Very nice breakfast with multiple options and even western options. There are also two heavy jackets in every room you can use for free due to lower temperature at night. Recommended.

Clean and functional, good a night stay on top of huangshan. Room size a bit small for price paid vs city but expected at such high elevation location. Near to attraction on mountain like xihai canyon.

The location of this hotel us top-tier, sadly the price performance ratio is a bit low. To have a room with no window facing outside on the mountain is not great. It means no fresh air in the room and in such high altitude makes the room so stuffy that it‘s impossible to relax in the room.

Positive: Wonderful location in the Yellow Mountains, ideal for avoiding the crowds in the evening and morning. Friendly and caring staff. Soup and an apple offered upon arrival. Clean room with comfortable bedding. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, though not particularly tasty. Negative: Rooms are small and feel more like a camping bungalow than a hotel (plastic shower cabin). Poor sound insulation – bring earplugs. Poor value for money (you're mostly paying for the location).

Perfectly located near a cable car (beware of using the good one!). Ideal for families. Clean and quiet. Quite upscale, with a very smart design. Definitely a nice place. And this landscape!!!
