Happy Cheng Hotel (Huangshan North High-speed Railway Station)

Far superior to most 5 star American branded chain hotels in amenities.auto Japanese toilet auto curtains good quality toiletries and a superb breakfast surprisingly good for money.restaurent staff very polite and nice unlike the indifferent staff of chain hotels.The Dumbo's at Shanghai station Radisson cannot speak English but one girl here did speak well enough..very accommodating and helpful staff.food and everything with supermarket across street.just4 km from the station is not an issue as free pick up and drop in good car.fantastic value for money in a new posh hotel looking very drab from outside.best though the cheapest I stayed in a 16 day tour of china.5star plus room will amaze you.ideal for xixinan hongcun and mountains.very polite staff.dont ever try mushan in south gate..

As the hotel is rather new, so no issue with the overall standards. Typical of hotel in China, it does have a tinge of cigarette smell lingering in the room. Breakfast is nice! Very attentive service staff. Left a shirt when checking out and they offered to send to my next hotel in another part of China, without me asking. Thumbs up

The front desk service is particularly good.
