It was good price and it’s nothing worse than I thought before I came

Provided a fine bed to sleep in, but there was no counter staff and little atmosphere. Talked about a bar etc but that is all closed up.

The room was spacious, tidy, and clean. The prison theme was amusing, and they even have a photo area where you can pose as an inmate. The surrounding area is pleasant, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

During my recent trip to Hualien, I had the unique opportunity to stay at the Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel, and it truly exceeded my expectations. As soon as I arrived, the prison theme instantly caught my attention. The rooms were designed to resemble prison cells, which added an intriguing and immersive element to my stay. One thing that stood out to me was the absence of a traditional reception desk. Instead, to gain entry, all guests need to do is call the contact number provided, which adds a touch of mystery to the experience. The lady working there was exceptionally helpful and patient, even taking the time to explain how to use the facilities in Chinese. Her assistance made my stay all the more enjoyable. As a solo traveler, I couldn't help but appreciate the eerie vibes that the place exudes, especially since I'm a fan of horror. Every night, I found myself immersed in an atmosphere that perfectly catered to my taste. It's not often that you come across a hostel that provides such a unique and thrilling ambiance. Cleanliness is always a priority for me, and I was pleased to find that Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel did not disappoint in this aspect. The rooms were well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The convenient location of the hostel was also a major plus, making it easy for me to explore and enjoy everything that Hualien has to offer. I am overlook that this hotel has no lift. So we need to carry heavy luggage to 1st floor. Provide many boardgame and playing card at the counter. And the prison Theme is quite fun, the hotel provide many prison cloth and prison accessories for photo shooting. special experience.

這次到花蓮旅遊，選擇了頗具話題性的「監獄文旅」住宿體驗，原本對這間以監獄為主題的文創旅店充滿期待，但實際入住後的體驗比較讓人失望。 首先是房間的整潔度，整體來說只能算是普通，不至於髒亂，但也沒有給人特別乾淨清爽的感覺。房間內蚊子非常多，躺在床上沒幾分鐘就開始被叮，雖然店家有貼心地準備了電蚊液，但效果似乎不太明顯，我最後還是自己戴了防蚊貼才比較能安心睡覺。房間的燈光也讓我有點困擾，開了燈後感覺還是灰濛濛的，幾乎和小夜燈沒兩樣，廁所的燈也是非常暗，晚上洗澡或上廁所時其實看不太清楚，有點不方便。 再來是公共空間的部分，我有稍微在一樓的公共設施走動一下，雖然空間設計有特色，但整個環境非常悶熱，即使只是短暫使用一樓的公共廁所，出來整個人都汗流浹背，幾乎像剛運動完一樣，真的會讓人很難久待。這部分如果能加強通風或裝設空調會更好。 不過值得一提的是交通與停車相對方便，我是騎機車過來的，附近就有滿多可以停車的空位，不太需要煩惱停車問題，這點還算加分。 整體而言，「監獄文旅」的創意和外觀概念確實有趣，但實際住宿的舒適度還有很多進步空間。如果只是短暫過夜、對住宿品質不太挑剔的人，或許可以試試看，但如果你希望睡個好覺、享受放鬆旅程的話，可能需要多考慮一下。希望未來店家能針對房內照明、蚊蟲防治以及公共區域的通風改善，這樣才能讓這個有趣的主題旅店真正成為一個值得推薦的住宿選擇。
