This is an amazing place to stay for all traveler types. You can travel here solo or with family/friends. Upon arrival, I was checked into my room. Jimmy (the owner) gave a warm welcome along with a gift. The room was comfortable and clean. It even had a balcony where you can sit and overlook the whole city. Jimmy and his staff are very kind. They provided excellent service, and the breakfast was tasty and nutritious. The city doesn’t have the best transportation, but Jimmy was kind enough to drive me into the city and pick me up whenever I was finished. When I checked out, I was given a box of tea—a wonderful gift for the upcoming Chinese New Year. All in all, I would rate this place a 12/10. It’s not only a place to stay, but it made me feel right at home. The plus side is the cute dog, Ao Hua. She is friendly and playful.

The owner and staffs are very warm and friendly, do let them know when you are coming. The boss is very nice and send me to Hua Lien Train station. The stay is very spacious and they provide sumptuous and healthy breakfast. There's a cute dog also (: The stay is at a hill, so if can, do buy something back in case you are hungry. It's been a great stay!(:

It is such a perfect spot with wonderful staff. They are dedicated to make your stay a memorable one. The food was amazing. They even give you gifts and will if you are tired, they will make sure you have a nice dinner on the house. I would recommend this place to everyone that comes to Hualein. The owner is so committed and kind. He would gladly offer rides to and from the train station and help you with anything you need. Perfect stay. Clean as well. Just wonderful and outstanding!

Host was very friendly and welcoming. He drove us around city area and recommended us local places to eat which is alot cheaper and nicer. Have a cute and nice dog to play with there, ah hua😅 Room was clean, neat and nice, HUMONGOUS, with wonderful views. The host even cooked breakfast for us and gave us gifts upon arrival 🥲 Had a good chat with him on how i can modify my mini cooper but after that i realised it is not legal in singapore 🤦♂️ Highly recommended and would return back there if i am back at hua lien. U may even get free room upgrades if there is availability🫣

I would like to commend the owner for being generous and never forget his promise to the filipina that helped him in his business. Thank you so much, we enjoyed our stay and we slept very well. The view is beautiful, the food is very healthy and people are kind. Again thank you so much, i would definitely recommend this hotel...🥰

Great host and all the staff are incredibly helpful and generous. They even drove to the station to bring me my hat which i had left in my room by accident. The view is great and food portions are large. Room is spacious and clean. Best hotel I stayed in in Taiwan.

This amazing mountainside bed and breakfast is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Our room had a spectacular view of the city and a nice porch. I later found out the owner had upgraded us to the best room for free since it was empty. Incredible hotel and customer service! We arrived tired after hiking around Toroko Gorge and didn’t want to get a taxi to go to the city to get food. We were going to eat some bread we had with us, but they made us a big pot of delicious noodle soup and didn’t charge us anything! Breakfast was yummy traditional ********* food. They also let us do laundry there for free. The owner gave me his phone number and offered to drive us into town whenever we needed. He said he likes to welcome his guests like friends who are visiting from out of town. My daughter loved playing with the hotel dog, Ahua, and kittens. Just walking around the hotel, you can enjoy fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery. What an incredible stay. So much cheaper and more relaxing than Taipei. I am telling all my friends. I can’t wait to come back!

great city view with ********* breakfast

Fabulous stay. Love the quiet, serene ambience although there are sounds of dogs and animals which is common in nature. The host, Mr Zhang is so warm and helpful that we felt treated like old friends coming for a visit. There is a dog and many cats in the house but non threatening. They make themselves scarce, somehow if guests are afraid of them. As the BnB is up on the mountain, it’s easier to get around if there a car. The host goes out of his way to help and provide advice on where to go and how to get there. Perfect host! The only room with twin beds is the family room for four. The other room is spacious to with king or queen beds. A good place for a retreat.

Super nice view and excellent hospitality! Best view of Hualien city from the top of the mountain. The host offered top notch breakfast and service. Will definitely visit next time!

Good experience for one night there

Overwhelming view! I can stay in the room for whole day! Room size is quite satisfying! Definitely want to come back!

已經不是第一次來花蓮，但卻是第一次嘗試在地民宿。因為在平台上被美麗的夜景以及符合價位而吸引預訂了這間雲頂民宿，沒想到卻讓我們全家人感受到了老闆滿滿的用心服務！一到民宿就有老闆及工作人員在等待，幫忙提行李，介紹民宿環境。因為在山邊，老闆晚上怕我們路不熟及夜市附近不好停車，特意開車接送我們家人去夜市！晚上帶著其他客人的小朋友在草坪上玩耍，聊天才知道是熟客，從小baby起就認識，到現在小女生會跑跳了。老闆對小朋友很和藹可親，隔天早餐有清粥小菜，玉米飼養，怕我們吃不飽份量都很足！民宿的夜景非常優美，爸爸很喜歡大露臺可以吸菸賞景，媽媽住到不想離開XD，許願下個假期可以再來！
