Chom View Hotel, Hua Hin anmeldelser

We are here all the time, it's an old hotel, but it's ok, very clean. I sleep wonderfully well in the bed, good quality mattress, the breakfast is simple but good enough. One thing to do in Chom view, is the massage... for a fair price, u get a massage at the beach ! The pool is big for the family ! clean and nice. Honestly, worth money to come and to come back ~~~~

We paid for sea view and high floor. But the hotel arranged ground floor and our apartment is behind the sea view apartment. We see the sea for just part. I asked for receptionists and difficult to communicate with them. So I let it be at the hotel. Because of ground floor Mosquitoes are everywhere. Breakfast was awful. Breakfast time they said 7 am to 11 am and we arrived at before 8am, everything is empty and not filling up. That was happened not only one day. We stayed for 3 days and it happened all 3 days. Toilet and sinks got Terrible smell. Also the swimming pools’ tiles are mostly broken. Both of my kids was hurt their foot. I felt so bad for my kids and our holidays are ruined. We will not go back and not recommended to others also. So disappointed.

Stayed in one of tge cheaper rooms about 1100 baht a night n room is good n roomy and i woukd say good value for the location close beach The pool area is a little dated but still good and the massage there is very good :) on the downside then the bar n choice of drinks etc is prety poor and the price and choice of beers is drastic , one small tin of leo is 130 baht :( Bar manager needs to realise there not the Marriot n lower prices to suit the quality of there hotel You can walk left 100metres along beeach n get leo in a nicer setting for 70 baht :)

We have stayed in many places in Hua Hin on multiple visits. Here is what you need to know about Chom View. Room: The family rooms are great and spacious with a fridge, microwave, cups, bottle opener, knife, utensils and plates and bowls. I would recommend paying a little extra for ocean view as that has you right on the pool/beach. Breakfast: Skip it! Coffee is awful. Selection isn’t great. The breakfast wasn’t good and most things were out an hour before breakfast ended and you had to wait a long time for a refill. With the mini kitchen in the room you are better of buying yogurt and such and eating ok your beach view balcony. If you must have the hotel breakfast we learned that you can order yogurt and scrambled eggs directly from the kitchen. Beach: The tide is high in the morning so there is no beach to speak of until about 3pm. After 3pm you have a lovely flat beach to run and play on. Location: As frequent visitors to Thailand and motorbike riders the location was fine. Cicada market, Tamarind food Market (only open Thursday-Sunday) and a few other Restaurants are walkable. Otherwise you’ll need to get a taxi/tuk tuk to other sites in Hua Hin which is super easy with a taxi stand right outside the hotel. Staff: In the “Land of Smiles” hospitality is usually top notch. At Chom View the staff seemed more aloof. Although it is fair to say we did not engage them much as we know our way around Hua Hin. Our family of 4 would certainly stay at Chom View again.

Good location, but rooms need to be renovated

The location is superb - the beach is right behind the resort, and the Tamarind and Cicada markets are about a 8-minutes walk from the resort. There was no crowd at the beach at all as we were there during low season, but the beach was kept sparkling clean all the same. The room felt rather old-fashioned but everything necessary is provided. Unfortunately the power went out in the middle of the night for two consecutive days, so our time was not as enjoyable as we expected it to be.
