Howlong Golf Resort

Ther motel rooms are pretty standard for this type of accommodation. Double bed and a spare single in our room oplaus table and chair. Reasonably roomy. Bathroom etc was clean and had all the necessaries. Very good got water pressure so showers were great. Hotel reception p[-rovided great service The breasort has a small pool and lovely landscaped gardens. Within these gardens was a covered BBQ area

Convenient location for visiting relatives. This resort was in a very quiet area. Good size room , very comfortable bed, lovely hot shower, ample parking ,friendly staff . Would stay here again when in the area

Family group stayed 3 days in multiple rooms. We stayed in 2bed 2 bath spacious apartment. All mod cons, appliances, kitchenette, micro, tv with all access Fox, Kayo etc. Welcome by manager was bit cool which was surprising but found the lady very nice to deal with as did the rest of our entourage. Had all meals at the Resort which was good but portions too big! Good value and very friendly staff.

Great venue, run really well by the Managers. We take a big group every year and nothing is a problem. Very clean and friendly staff. Highly recommended for a large group or just a couple getting away!

If you like golf, or simply looking for a relaxed stay in between Albury and Corowa, then the Howling Golf Resort is an ideal place to stay. Rooms are typical of a good motel and provide basic amenities. The staff were helpful and the rooms were very clean....and not too expensive! A pre dinner drink in the outdoor area at the Golf Club, overlooking a small water feature and the 6th green, provided a nice outlook. (PS And the golf course was in excellent condition!)

Howlong Golf Resort Motel provides very friendly and very comfortable accommodation. We stayed twice in 6 days - when driving Sydney to Ballarat and on our return trip. Our first stay was excellent so the decision to stay again was easy. The rooms are spotless and have been cleverly updated so as to provide very good value. Parking is excellent - lots of space and at the door - which was great arriving in cold rain. We arrived to a warm room as heating, thoughtfully, was turned on before our arrival. The small Murray River town of Howlong is very pleasant with a full range of facilities. The Howlong golf club bistro (adjacent to the motel - about 50 metres walk) provided pleasant surroundings and good value food and drinks. A great bonus for us was the fact that from Howlong (about 20 km west of Albury) the drive into Victoria offers a variety of country roads which lead through a great choice of quaint country towns. Our route between Howlong and Ballarat was different in each direction - and both ways we totally avoided the very busy Hume Freeway. Our next trip will definitely include Peter's and Raelene's Howlong motel. Thank you - greatly appreciated.
