The Inn at Houghton Creek

I was in town to watch my son pitch for the Genesee Rapids. This was the closest place to stay. I will definitely stay here again! The Staff was super sweet and the place was very clean. Its a cute place. It's peaceful, warm and welcoming all in one. I loved the smell of the sheets when I went to bed!! The bed was super comfortable!! Great place to stay. I will definitely recommend to anyone going to Houghton.

This is by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in the area. The landscaping is beautiful, and it’s clear that the staff truly care about their guests, creating a genuinely pleasant experience. Coffee and cold breakfast items were available all day, and the hotel also offered the option of enjoying a complimentary hot breakfast at the University, which we did and it was awesome. Our room was a little tight, but the beds were comfortable and spotless. I especially loved having an oil diffuser, which was a thoughtful touch. The bathroom (shower, toilet, and sink) was compact but pristine, with quality towels provided. Overall, the property is very well maintained. For EV drivers, this hotel is a standout choice: the charging rates are very competitive, the chargers are kept in excellent condition, and there’s plenty of parking. Plus, the surrounding area is easily walkable.

I stayed here with my family for a wedding in town and it was the perfect location. My husband and our two kids were comfortable in the room, the hotel was super accommodating to us and it provided the perfect community space for us to hang out with other family in the inn. A great stay!

The beds were comfy and the staff kept everything immaculate. The hotel even has some artist pieces on consignment which I purchased. Parking is free, a huge plus considering they are on campus. And lots of little extras. Ex. Provide boutique lotion and diffusers in the room. The toiletries provided were high quality. Towels and sheets soft like they are still new. Coffee pods available all times and breakfast nook had locally roasted beans in the single serve freshly ground to order coffee maker. Highly recommend this local.

Loved this place! We had a very relaxing stay here after a busy week of travel to the Finger Lakes region. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening. Room was so cute, bed comfortable, check-in easy, and we received vouchers for breakfast at the college nearby. My only complaint was that the shower curtain smelled mildewy. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!
