There are numerous world-class hikes with every degree of length and difficulty (guides available) nearby or you can take a well-trained Lab for a walk. Upland bird hunting with trained dogs are available in season. Bird watchers will enjoy all of the western birds including very close sightings of Bald Eagles. After a day in the outdoors soak in the nearby natural hot springs and then retire to the sound of silence broken only by the wind or the river. Querencia is a fly-fishing destination specializing in the spring creeks and freestone streams of the Yellowstone area. It is also a base of operations for exploring Yellowstone Park (36 miles to the north entrance at Gardiner), the Little Big Horn Battlefield and all of southwest Montana, perfect for singles, couples, family reunions or business retreats. Children and well-behaved pets are welcome.
