Since we haven’t been getting out here lately, we decided to open it up to others to enjoy the beautiful Paradise Valley. Located just 1 mile up from the flashing yellow light at Highway 89, this house is in the perfect location on your way to Yellowstone! The town of Emigrant, has a bakery, BBQ joint, Saloon and an amazing General Store. It is also very close to Chico Hot Springs Resort, which has horseback riding, a day spa and a wonderful outdoor mineral pool that is open till 11 pm.The house has an open floor plan with a living room, dining room, and kitchen. There are two wings. The first wing has one bedroom with twin beds, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and a full bathroom in between. The second wing has a master bedroom, with a queen bed and an attached full bathroom, there is separate study with a queen bed.The living room has a vaulted ceiling. There is plenty of space to park. There is high speed internet/wifi and a large TV in the living room for those who have their own Roku or streaming service accounts. There is a large kitchen that is fully equipped with the essentials for cooking. For clean up there is a dishwasher.Guest accessThe upper floor is all yours! It is spacious.There is a lower studio apartment underneath where our long-term caretaker resides, but there are no shared walls, doors, or access. The glass door leading to the upper deck has a wraparound deck with additional outdoor seating as well as a BBQ. The downstairs has a large master king bedroom with a private entrance to the lawn and shaded cement patio seating area, a kid’s play room, full bathroom, and a dorm style bunk room with two sets of twin bunk beds, a twin with a trundle bed as well as a stand-alone twin bed. Although it’s a rural neighborhood, there is plenty to do. The former owners of Canyon House live nearby and have a fully operational outfitting business (Wilderness Connection) that offers horseback rides, white-water rafting, and zip lining. Historic Gardiner, the only year-round entrance to Yellowstone Park, is a short 20 minutes away. A step back in time to the Old West, Gardiner’s main street has restaurants, art galleries, gift shops, gas stations, a grocery store and a small pharmacy.The Yellowstone River is 4 miles away and is the longest undammed river in the continental US with fantastic trout fishing and white-water rafting. You must purchase a fishing license to fish there. It's easy to fish from the banks, only minutes from the house, or hire a guide to take 1-2 anglers via drift boat.
