Hotel Landhaus Kössel - Peter Kössel

Terrific space. Terrific view. Breakfast room/common space very hygge & excellent breakfast. I recommend you arrive early if possible to learn about all of the things included in your stay from the reception staff before they close. We arrived after they closed and were not able to figure out the sauna.

A great place, offering a wide range of rooms (I had a single) and also ample parking places and a safe and dry garage for bicycles (which I used). I arrived after reception closed, but check in was smooth and I found my way. The property has a great natural swimming pool with a great view and a sauna (which unfortunately I couldn't use as I arrived late and could not get instructions for it). Finally, the breakfast was fantastic - lots of choice, great quality and in the dining room with lots of morning light.

Really nice hotel near to the places we would like to visit, the pillows not so comfortable, but for the rest everything ok...it was very clean, breakfast was really nice and people polite and nice. Recommended for a short stay to visit the castles and the neighborhood!

The view is INCREDIBLE! We had a standard room and the view was absolutely jaw-dropping. The whole room felt like luxury to me! I loved the location too - walking distance to several restaurants. It isn't in "old town" Fussen - it's in Hopfen Am See - but it was even more perfect and Bavarian and charming. Best place I stayed on our trip to Bavaria. 12 minutes to the Neuschwanstein Castle. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

We did not stay in the Landhaus Kössel hotel, but in a house apartment in the town of Füssen that was offered by the same host who manages the Landhaus Kössel hotel apparently. Our stay in the Stadtvilla has been excellent. For me the cleanliness has always been the highest and main priority when travelling, so this is the first thing that grabbed my attention when I entered the apartment - it was extremely clean and tidy. The interior is exactly the same as it looks on the pictures, with interesting design. Check in/out was very smooth - the registration is done online, and the entry in the apartment is via self-check-in, instructions for which were provided in advance, prior our arrival. The host has even left us Füssen tourist cards for travelling to visit the King's Castles. He was responsive to my questions in the Application's chat. Overall we felt very comfortable staying at Stadtvilla Füssen. If I have to point out some improvement suggestions in order to prove that this is not an AI generated comment :) , here are some, but they are so small that they would not change my evaluation even slightly. The door of the toilet does not lock;; an automatic e-mail about reception working hours and breakfast has been sent to me, while it was related to the hotel, which was a bit confusing;; there is a toilet and a bathroom separated, it might be a good idea to have a second toilet in the bathroom as well;; could not find any supplies in the kitchen, e.g. napkins or kitchen paper. There are two bedrooms (double bed) and a small room (with a bed) as an extension of one of the bedrooms. A glass door separates the bedroom and the small room. So, if you are a bigger group, you might want to take into account that optimal capacity of the apartment for max. comfort is 5 people or 4 adults and a child. However, our group of 6 people still managed to sleep there (as it is not that big of a problem for one night and when you are in a hurry and tired from travelling). But the pointed above is just the gap between excellent and perfect. in general, I could say that the stay at Stadtvilla Füssen has been the best one from all the three places we stayed at during our vacation in Bavaria. I would definitely go back and stay at Stadtvilla Füssen and I hope to have the chance to do so some day. Also, I would visit the Landhaus Kössel, as I am sure that that it adheres to the same high standards as Stadtvilla Füssen.

The apartment was very spacious. The design of the apartments is also very interesting, warm&cosy. The location is excellent, just a minute away from the lake. Beautiful views on mountains. Breakfast was excellent, the breakfast area itself is beautiful. It was a wonderful experience and we will gladly come back in the future.

The apartment we stayed in (apartment B) was superbly clean. Seems to have been recently renovated as everything looks very new. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing is there’s no lift so you have to carry up your luggages. Ample parking places. Like what other reviewers commented there is an animal stench near the premises. But in the apartment there’s no smell. We could hear the church bells ringing but it wasn’t too loud. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Sehr freundlicher und unkomplizierter Check-In. Das Appartement war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Aussicht war super! Das Bett war sehr bequem. Frühstück wäre möglich gewesen - aber wir waren Selbstversorger. Der Service rundherum war auch gut.

Das Landhaus Kössel verfügt über schöne und geräumige Appartements, eine große Auswahl am Frühstückbuffet, einen erfrischenden Badeteich nach der Sauna, einen tollen Blick auf die Allgäuer Berge, und sehr freundliches Personal. Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren gerne und werden auch wieder kommen!
